Sausage Pizza

Dial up your pizza toppings with sliced sausages! Pan-fry the sausages, cool, then slice for the best pizza in town.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pizza base
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 5-6 cherry tomatoes
  • black olives (optional)
  • 1-2 pre-cooked sausages
  • 1 cup pizza cheese

Instructions
 

  • Heat a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil to a medium heat.
  • Slice the sausages and pan fry for around 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Set the sausage slices aside.
  • Thinly slice the red onion, cherry tomatoes and olives (optional).
  • Preheat an oven to 180°C (fan-forced 160°C).
  • Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the base leaving a small edge. Sprinkle with the oregano.
  • Top with red onion, cherry tomatoes, and olives (if using).
  • Add the sausage slices to the pizza, distributing evenly.
  • Top with pizza cheese and bake for 8-12 mins or until golden. You may need to turn your pizza halfway to ensure even cooking.
  • Slice and serve!
