Bargain Box Choice delivers family favourite recipes at bargain prices, with everything you need delivered to your door by New Zealand’s cheapest meal-kit – and now with added choice for those fussier family members.
What type of food can I typically expect in a Bargain Box Choice delivery?
Every week you can choose from eight recipes packed with goodness that will make you go WHOA! The amazing Bargain Box chefs and taste testers create meals the whole fam will love. They’re packed with plenty of veggies (perfect for growing bodies!), have easy-to-follow instructions, and are super tasty, too!
There will be a selection of proteins to choose from each week i.e. some chicken dinners, some beef etc. as well as two vegetarian meals.
Bargain Box chicken and eggs are free-range, they use sustainably caught fish, and source as many veggies and other ingredients as possible from local suppliers.
Bargain Box Choice options
Bargain Box Choice is available for three, four, or five nights per week and comes in three sizes:
Serves 2: Great for a couple, or 2 adults with a young child
Serves 4: Feeds 4 adults/teens, or 2 adults and 3 kids
Serves 6: Feeds 6 adults/teens, or great for big families

Sometimes it would be nice not to have to THINK of what to make for dinner! The thinking is the hard part, the making is easy! The 4 person box would suit our family best.

We would love to trial Bargain Box Choice for 2! Dinnertimes are always crazy and having pre-planned recipes and ingredients ready to go would be AMAZING! Would love to trial the 4 person box please. Both hubby and I work full time and we have two boys aged 11 and 13 and Bargain Box looks like a great way to feed our family. Takes the hassle out of what to choose, and being kid approved, hopefully my fussy boys like it. Thank you for the opportunity.
I’d love to try the 6 person box for my family. We’ve got 3 adults, 1 teen, a toddler and a child! So difficult coming up with different fun meals every night that suits everyone so this would be perfect to trial! We’ve been thinking about trying a service like this for a while and would love to give it a go!
Would love our family of 5 (2 teen boys, 1 primary school age boy, myself and hubby ) the chance to trial a 6 person 5 nights family choice box please. As the main grocery and cooker in our how I’m always looking for quick, healthy, family friendly meal ideas and in as less time as possible. The fact that bargain box offers this and the option to pick meals to suit is incredible and something I’d love us to try and then hopefully keep going on a regular basis. Looks like it would be a great way to get the teens in the kitchen learning new recipes and cooking ideas too and would cover all bases with having a vegetarian in the mix also. Would also love to try out so could share all our creations from this one socialedia with other families especially on instagram where a lot of our followers are families with kids of sinialr ages and eating habits.
Yes please! I would love to try this for my family as I have just stared back at work after being a stay at home mum for 7 years and am struggling to think of and prepare healthy meals for my family. This would take the guess work out and save a heap of time and my family can eat healthy every night. We tryed hello fresh and that was grate for us but out of our price range so would be grate to have the same option and a more affordable price tag
I would love to try this for my family of 4 . Exploring new foods that the kids will love is a must. Got to keep things interesting esp at dinner time as it can be hard to get them to eat tea.
I’d love to try the 2 person box. As a small, one income wee family (Me & Miss 5) we tend to stick to the same things because I can budget for them. Miss 5 is well over some of the favourites and is becoming a bit picky so I’d love the excitement of a Bargain Box that we can create a meal with together.

My family (myself, partner, 1 year old & 3 year old) would love to be considered to try this! My 3 year old is really interested in helping prepare the vegetables of the meals at the moment so this would be awesome! We would love to be considered for the 6 people box (as we would take some for lunches the next day!)

With two active boys who do not stop eating I find meal times difficult. They are both very good at eating a variety but I have lost my enthusiasm I am.finding it difficult to come up with new recipies and would love he kids to get involved in helping cook dinner. Having a selection of recipies and all ingredients on hand I can see boxed dinners helping establish routine and also give us a new variety of meals that are not boring.
It would be wonderful to trial a box for 2. Both my husband and I work full time and our son goes to day care while we are at work. Sometimes, my husband works on weekends leaving me to manage our son and household chores. This would be a good opportunity to ease our burdens. Thank you!
I would love to be given the opportunity to try the 2 person box please. We have one child, aged 9 and the reason I’ve never tried any of these kinds of meals is because they don’t seem to be geared toward a family of 3. I would love to see if the 2 person box would be enough for 3 of us, because if I were to pay for a 4 person meal it would be too much food and of course an increase in price. My family has decided to try to eat vegetarian meals at least twice a week so this would be fantastic for us. Weeknights are busy, like everyone else, and I just find I don’t have the time to invest in meal prep/cooking, so my meals are a bit uninspiring. I need some inspiration! Help! 🙂

We have never tried a food box but would love to give it a go for our busy family of 4! Our kids are super fussy but I’m sure would give things a go with this option and would probably even prepare them with the easy recipe instructions! Hubby and I both work full time so to have dinners sorted for the week would be a dream come true! Yes please!
This would actually be amazing, I have 4 kids who are all different and would love to try get my very fussy daughter eating new things and try some vegetables for a change. She is a competitive gymnast and needs to eat good food for training. Would very much appreciate the 6 person one so I could even get my kids to help

We would love to try our Bargain Box. We are a family of 6 (2 adults, 11yr, 10yr, 2.5yr and 1yr old) With busy schedules and a house full of people we are always looking at ways to make meal times easier, break up from the weekly repeat of meals while making sure they are still healthy. We are in the process of teaching our older children (11 & 10) to cook so I would love to see how easy the meals would be to allow them the independence of cooking a meal. I love the idea of trying new recipes without having scoured the internet for hours and then off on the journey for obscure ingredients. I would also love to test how well the meals go down for the whole family with the range in ages we have. Thank you
I would love to try the box for 6 with a 15, 13, 12 and 4 year old plus mum and dad. Would love to see how good the meals are and of they are worth what you pay and easier than shopping each week and having to make up what we are having. I know it will be great so very exciting for my family to try this
Oh wow this would be so awesome for our family at the moment! My hubby has had bowel surgery and is usually the cook/cleaner and school pickup person as I work full time. But I have had to do everything including preparing and cooking all the meals and I’m knackered! I’m also on the wait list at the hospital for a hysterectomy and I’ve been put into early menopause by the specialist, so I’ve got hot flushes and sleeplessness to deal with too!! I would really love to be a part of this trial team, I have heard a lot about these but have never tried one 🙂 I would like the 4 person box if chosen please!
