Children love using their imaginations, through dress up play. This no-sew tutu is a simple way of making a tutu that will be played with for a long time.

What you need:

• Tulle
• Scissors
• Elastic

Activity:

Cut the tulle into lots of strips.

For the waistband, measure the circumference of your child’s waistline and cut a piece of elastic to the measurement.

Sew the ends together.

Fold one tulle strip in half over the waistband and tie the strip in a knot against the waistband.

Fold another tulle strip in half over the waistband next to the first and tie the strip in a knot. (Knots need to be as close together as possible).

Continue knotting tulle strips all the way around the waistband until it is finished.
