Bubble gum, bubble gum

Let’s play bubble gum, bubble gum! This fun kids birthday party game will entertain children of all ages and tests their listening and counting skills. Plan a game today!

Activity:

Have the children gather in a tight circle and make a fist with both hands. Then, have them hold their fists out in the centre of the circle. Select someone to be the “counter”.

The counter takes one of their fists and tap everyone’s fists (including their own) as they say this rhyme: “Bubble gum, Bubble gum, in a dish. How many pieces do you wish?”

Whoever they tap last says a number between 1 and 20. Then the counter taps everyone’s fists again as they count to the specified number.

Whoever they land on last, has to take that fist out of the circle and place it behind their back. Then the counter would start all over again with “Bubble gum, Bubble gum …” and repeat the process.

Once both fists are tapped, that person is out. And this goes on until it narrowed it down to one – the winner!
