Calendar conundrum

    Calendar conundrum

You don't have to go to great lengths to get minds boggling on April Fools' Day. All you need is a calendar grid, some simple addition and a foolish victim.

    What you need:

    • computer with internet access
    • printer
    • paper
    • calculator – optional

    Number of players:

    Activity:

Simply print the calendar below and follow these simple steps to lure your victim.

Step 1. Ask your victim to choose three dates on a calendar. The only rule is they must be consecutive dates. For example: 5, 6 and 7.
Don't let them tell you the dates, you can tell THEM!

Step 2. Simply add all 3 dates together and divide the answer by 3.
    For example, 5 + 6 + 7 = 18. Then 18 ÷ 3 = 6.

Step 3. The answer is the middle date your victim chose. One up and one down will be all three dates chosen by your victim.

    Notes:
Try this a few times and use a calculator if it helps. You're sure to trick your victim into thinking that you can read their mind!

    Print the calendar.
