Cloud collage

No matter the weather outside, making a cloud collage is a creative kids art and craft project that is also a great kids activity for bored little ones. Grab some cotton wool and some glue and get creative!

What you need:

• cotton wool buds
• a variety of blue paper (make sure there are different colours and textures)
• glue
• paintbrush for glue

Number of players:
1+

Activity:

Use a blue page to be the sky or background.

Get your child to tear the remaining blue papers into strips and shapes.

Layer the strips and shapes onto the sky and glue in place.

Arrange the cotton wool buds into cloud clumps.

Glue in place.

Notes:

• You could do this just on the top of a poster sheet of paper and create an image under the sky with other papers and glue.
• Tear and ball green crepe paper up and use green coloured paper for a tree, brown for the trunk.
• Give a house a red roof with a cotton wool smoke puff coming from the chimney.
