Dressing up is always a popular games with kids of all ages – and they love it even more when they can make their own homemade dress ups. They’ll have plenty of fun making this very easy hat project.

What you need:

• Paper plate
• Stapler
• Scissors
• Hole puncher
• String
• Paint

Activity:

With a pencil, mark the paper plate into quarters.

Cut one quarter away from the paper plate.

Bring the two cut edges together, overlap slightly and staple together in several places.

Punch one hole on opposite sides of the plate’s edge and thread and knot a 20cm length of string through each hole.

Decorate the hate with paint or pencils.

Place on your child’s head and secure under his chin by tying the string together.
