Make a peekaboo ghost puppet

This simple peekaboo ghost puppet is an easy Halloween craft that little kids will love. After all, who doesn't love a game of peekaboo?

What you need:

• 1 x takeaway coffee cup
• 1 x popsicle stick
• black tissue paper
• small square of white card
• glue stick
• scissors
• black marker pen

Cut strips of black tissue paper to cover the outside of the takeaway cup.

Use the glue stick to glue the strips onto the outside of the cup.

Now draw a ghost shape onto the white card. Make sure it will fit inside the cup; it should be small enough to be hidden when the puppet is inside the cup.

Cut out the ghost and glue it onto the tip of the popsicle stick.

Make a small slit in the base of the coffee cup  and thread the end of the popsicle stick through the slit.

Now hold the stick, pull it down so that the ghost is hidden in the cup and BOO! Push the stick up to reveal the ghost.

Hours of fun … for a toddler, at least.
