Make a twirly, dot painting rainbow snake

This easy twirly snake craft can be given a cultural twist with some Aboriginal-style dot painting.  It's a simple art activity idea for kids that want an indoor craft to enjoy.

What you need:

• 1 FREE twirly snake printable
• 4 cotton buds
• 4 colours of paint
• scissors
• string

Activity:

Print out the twirly snake printable onto card or paper.

Choose four colours.

Use a cotton bud to dot rows of colour around the body of the snake.

When the snake's body is all filled in with dots, cut along the outline.

Attach a piece of string to the snake's tail and pull upwards.

Hang your snake in the wind and watch it spin!
