Olympic fun: make an Olympic hoopla game
Have some Olympic fun at home with this craft that turns into a game by making an Olympic-themed hoopla.
What you need:
- 5 empty toilet rolls
- Cardboard approx. 25cm x 40cm (to use as a base)
- Cardboard approx. 30cm x 30cm (to make rings)
- Green, yellow, blue, red and black paint
- Paint brush
- Craft knife
- Roll of masking tape
Number of players:
Use the masking tape as a template and trace out five Olympic rings on the smaller piece of cardboard.
Paint each ring a different colour – red, yellow, green, blue and black
Paint each toilet roll tube a different colour – red, yellow, green, blue and black.
Cut out the Olympic rings using a craft knife or scissors.
Now get your base piece of cardboard and use glue to stick on your toilet roll tubes, in the correct Olympic ring sequence (see video)
Your hoopla game is ready to play – just match each ring to the corresponding colour tube and start competing with your friends for the gold medal!
