GOAT, a brand-new animated action-comedy, is coming to cinemas on 19th February. It brings big laughs, big heart, and a seriously good underdog story.
The story follows Will, a small goat with big dreams who gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play Roarball – a high-intensity, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest, biggest animals in the world. Roarball is played on dynamic, oversized courts that feature natural obstacles ranging from writhing vines to cracking sheets of ice.
For four-time NBA champion Stephen Curry, who’s a producer and voice actor for the film, Will’s story is a familiar one. “I relate to the entire story of ‘GOAT,’” he says. “My journey resembles Will’s – being overlooked, underrated – but finding your self-confidence through it all. It’s about the power of the team: No matter what walk of life, you can’t do anything great without the people around you. It’s cool to bring that into ‘GOAT,’ knowing how relatable it is, not just to my story, but to everybody.”
Every GOAT starts somewhere
Not every player is the biggest or the fastest — but the best teams know how to work together. In GOAT, it’s not about winning every time. It’s about having fun, backing your mates and giving it a go.

Backyard Roarball Missions

Dribble a ball, weaving around the objects. No rush – just keep control.
Team Pass Challenge
Pass a ball 10 times with a teammate without dropping it.
Next, move further apart and try passing 10 times again without dropping.
Keep the challenge going, moving further and further apart.
Underdog Shot
Set up a tricky shot and keep trying – even if you miss, every attempt counts.
No basketball net? No problem. Put a bucket on a chair and use a small ball to set up your trick shots into the bucket.

You gave it a go and had fun doing it. That’s what being a GOAT is all about.
