Are you up for a challenge?

Have you ever tried or thought about trying your toddler’s formula? Sugar can come in so many hidden forms, sometimes in places you wouldn’t expect – like Toddler Milk! Luckily, Anmum has no added sugars in their toddler milk, just more of the great taste of natural dairy goodness.

Anmum PediaPro3 is a product from Fonterra, specifically made for toddlers aged over 12 months and designed to complement what they eat during the day. From 12 months, your toddler’s an active little person – playing, exploring and getting up to mischief, so it’s important to keep their nutrition up.

Fonterra’s paediatric nutrition experts have developed Anmum PediaPro3 with no added sugars, to make sure they’re getting the nutritional help they need to support their active bodies and minds. Every serve of Anmum PediaPro3 contains more of the wholesome goodness of milk, with no added sugars including no sucrose, no corn syrup, no galactose and no glucose.

The challenge: We want mums and dads to taste their toddler’s current formula along with Anmum to see if they can taste the added sugars in toddler milks.  If you can taste the difference, you have a full tin of Anmum PediaPro3 to help you slowly wean your little one off the sweet stuff!  You can find a guide to help you switch your little one to Anmum here.

We have given 50 trialists with children 12+ months old a full size tin of Anmum PediaPro3 to trial and review.  Watch for their reviews below.

Would love my girl to try this. Especially with no added sugar is a big thing for us as we don’t want our daughter comusing much sugar and prefer her to have a healthy diet. I had never thought and did not think about sugar being in/added to her usual formula.

Would love to try. All current formulas are so sweet!! Sugar free is so much healthier!!

    4. Fiona252 25/08/2017 at 8:18 pm

I’d love to swap my son. I’ve tried his current formula certainly can taste the sugar.

    5. jenbabe231 25/08/2017 at 7:28 pm

I haven’t tasted it because it smells bad but he seems to love it, i did however have trouble finding a toddler formula with no added sugar and just opted for the one with the least sugar content per 100grams, now would be the perfect time to try this as he is only just starting on toddler formula so we aren’t set on a brand yet

    8. Nicki Warhurst 25/08/2017 at 1:15 pm

I’d be very keen to compare my son’s current formula to Anmum. I’ve never considered the added sugars before. However, I always strive to opt for healthier options so would like to take part on this trial.

I’d love to have a try of this one. I did taste my son’s formula, and it is quite strange.

    10. Bayleighmurray 25/08/2017 at 10:43 am

Looking for a toddler milk so perfect timing would love to test out

    11. Jhereal 25/08/2017 at 10:32 am

I’ve tasted my son’s milk which is S26 Gold and it’s a bit sweet and really creamy. I would love to try this formula if the one that I’m using now has lots of sugar in it. Anything that is a healthier option for my son would be great.

Would love to try this for my 2 year old toddler , love the Anmum range . Didn’t realise how many formulas have hidden sugar content. This sounds like a great product.

    13. jadehtki 25/08/2017 at 8:22 am

I tasted my toddlers formula last night after reading the email regarding this. Even though I can’t taste the sugars it was revolting! I don’t like the idea of him having sugar in his diet so would love to try Anmum!

    14. jessiecressie 25/08/2017 at 6:57 am

I tasted my son’s formula and even though I can’t taste the sugar it tastes revolting! I’ve never tried him on anything else & LOVE the idea of no sugars. This would be wonderful to try!

    15. Mummyoftwo 25/08/2017 at 5:29 am

Yes I have tried my sons formula and I did think it had a very sweet vanillary taste. I’d never even thought about sugar being in formula and it shocks me to know this now.

    16. Ashleigh 25/08/2017 at 1:47 am

We would love to try this, we have recently changed formulas and not as happy with the product as hoped sadly so would love to try this and see if it makes a difference, we did a milk powder trial for a year for the university for this very reason, the amount of sugar is ridiculous

    17. Athomewithmydarlings 25/08/2017 at 12:13 am

I would love to try this with my toddler. I had no idea that I first started formula feeding that they even added sugar to them.

    18. zaviarsmama 24/08/2017 at 9:48 pm

I’d love to be able to test this! I’ve tried some of my son’s formula and it tastes so sweet, almost like a vanilla milkshake. I’d love to see if this is any better

    19. Lornamoa 24/08/2017 at 9:46 pm

We would love to do this trial. There is enough sugar around without it being added to toddler milk. My 15 month old had a sample of Anmum and drank it. He has a tin or Karicare which he drinks at daycare we had S26 before and I never realised either had added sugar

    20. kaiawe1 24/08/2017 at 9:29 pm

I use Karl care toddler and yes I’ve tasted it. I’ve found it to be sweet especially the number 2 tin.

    21. Tinaksmith 24/08/2017 at 9:24 pm

I hadn’t .. but I did .. it DOES taste a bit sugary, not good at all! My little man is quite limited in his diet he only eats a few specific things, but he loves his milk time, I would be very interested in changing him to this to eliminate some sugars from his not so great diet. Would very much love to taste the difference!

    22. 0ekat 24/08/2017 at 9:10 pm

I didn’t realise when we started on formula that they had added sugar, I looked into it when I saw the anmum ad on tv. I would really like to try anmum but am worried about buying it if my fussy little guy doesn’t like it

    23. MandL 24/08/2017 at 8:46 pm

Both my children are drinking toddler milk (yes my 3 year old still loves her formula!). I’m very excited about this product coming to market as I’m big on limiting the amount of sugar they have (especially for the my son’s teeth as he drinks a bottle in the middle of night), but also want them to continue getting the nutrients from formula. I have tasted the different brands of toddler formula we’ve bought for them and would love to find one that tastes natural and closer to normal milk.

    24. Donna Verstraten 24/08/2017 at 8:43 pm

I would love to try this for my daughter. She has a bottle before her night time sleep and never relised how much suger was actually in the other formulas. I would love to try this and see if i can taste the difference

    25. Michellesmith19 24/08/2017 at 8:41 pm

I would be ecstatic to give this a try for my daughter. I don’t like giving my children sugar and so many formulas ar full of it. I have never quite been able to get a formula that my daughter loves. I want my daughter to be able to enjoy milk as it has so many amazing benefits! Would be forever grateful!

    26. missla 24/08/2017 at 8:38 pm

I would love to try this. We are currently taking s26 gold stage 3 (toddler). We’ve only been on it for 2 weeks but my daughter hardly drinks any of it. It tastes a lot sweeter than the stage 2 formula, smells sweet and is also very sticky. We have gone back to stage 2 for now because of this and was thinking we might need to try another brand.

    27. FunDad 24/08/2017 at 8:26 pm

Would be great to try this. I don’t like giving our boy sugar in something that is supposed to be good for him. I think it will be easier to introduce cow milk later on too if his formula isn’t so sweet. We currently give our boy s26

    28. CreativeMum 24/08/2017 at 8:19 pm

Wee ones don’t need added sugar and I must admit i didn’t realise how much added sugar was in formula. I’m so careful about what my wee boy eats but never really paid any attention to his formula. Would love to try this and more than happy to compare. If it is any good then I would not hesitate to tell other mums – it’s always good to be able to help others find healthier alternatives.

    29. Starrz24 24/08/2017 at 8:16 pm

Would love to try and compare the taste. My son is 13 months and is currently drinking s26 gold toddler. Less sugar definatley appeals to us! Thank you

    30. ashleyjademoore 24/08/2017 at 8:16 pm

Ive been trying to introduce stage 3 Toddler formula to my daughter and she isn’t having a bar of it because it is so sweet. I generally like sweet things and didn’t like the taste at all so would love to try this. I’m also all about trying to reduce sugar where possible and teach my daughter the benefit of a healthy lifestyle – it is a good insentive for me to stay on top of it too.
We would love the opportunity to trial this product
