Bargain Box Choice delivers family favourite recipes at bargain prices, with everything you need delivered to your door by New Zealand’s cheapest meal-kit – and now with added choice for those fussier family members.
What type of food can I typically expect in a Bargain Box Choice delivery?
Every week you can choose from eight recipes packed with goodness that will make you go WHOA! The amazing Bargain Box chefs and taste testers create meals the whole fam will love. They’re packed with plenty of veggies (perfect for growing bodies!), have easy-to-follow instructions, and are super tasty, too!
There will be a selection of proteins to choose from each week i.e. some chicken dinners, some beef etc. as well as two vegetarian meals.
Bargain Box chicken and eggs are free-range, they use sustainably caught fish, and source as many veggies and other ingredients as possible from local suppliers.
Bargain Box Choice options
Bargain Box Choice is available for three, four, or five nights per week and comes in three sizes:
Serves 2: Great for a couple, or 2 adults with a young child
Serves 4: Feeds 4 adults/teens, or 2 adults and 3 kids
Serves 6: Feeds 6 adults/teens, or great for big families

Serves 2. We would love to give this a go as a tester as we’re hoping to use this box when I go back to work. I’m encouraging hubby to make more meals at home and I think this would make it so easy and convenient for him that they’d be no excuses.
I would ❤️ LOVE ❤️ to be selected to try this trial. The 4 person would be great! My partner works such long hours and me looking after our baby boy (22months) dinner time can be very hectic and tedious. So to have a trial like this would be wonderful. Thank you! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Would love to try the serves 2 Box. Would be a perfect size for me and my 2 girls. They are good eaters and love food. Be great to try something different and easy for after work.
We would love to trail the 4 person Bargain Box. I have a child that has declared herself a vegetarian so would love some more ideas on what to cook for her. It would also help us get out of the rut of always seeming to have the same meals.
I think it would be a good way to get the 10 year ild to start cooking dinners too.

This couldn’t come at a better time as I look down the barrell of another groundhog week of family dinners. I desperately need to broaden my horizons and try some new dinners to make the family excited about dinner again. My kids are really awesome at trying new things, its me holding them back! Would love to try the 4 person box for 5 nights 😀
We are a family of 4 but all big eaters – we have two growing boys, 12 and 6. The 12yr old attends academy level football training 3 nights a week and hubby is out of town for work most days at the moment – having a bargain box that feeds 6 to trial would be fantastic for our family – and help me in the kitchen on busy nights!
We would love to take part in this trial especially since winter sports has started up and with 3 kids to run around practices and games, it would be great not to have to think about what to cook for dinner. Would think the 4 person box would suit us.

I would love to try this for 4 people. Never had bargain box before but had quite a lot of hello fresh, so would be a good comparison. Not having any choice with bargain box has always put me off so keen to give it a go now there is a few options. thanks!
Would love to try bargain box for my family, serves 4. Have tried other food delivery boxes but find they don’t cater to the kids and they don’t eat them. We are getting in a bit of a rut with dinner options and with a busy home/ work/ school life this would make dinner that little bit easier and give us some new meal ideas 🙂
We would love to try the serves four people box. Night times can become such a drag when cooking the same meals every week. This would be a great way to add some variety into our meals
Always keen on making dinner time as easy as possible, and if the kids play a part in choosing from a range of meals they’re more likely to want to help cook, and eat it! I’ve recently returned to full time work so the convenience would be amazing too. I’ve been looking at getting back into a meal service to help ease the load a bit. I’d be interested to see if this was a hit! We are a family of 5, and one is a teenager, so we’d like need the box for 6

Im a solo mum of 3 all are special needs plus I look after my nana. Honestly Im sick and tired of eating. Im sick of eating the same old foods daily. Im not the worlds greatest cook. Id love to learn to cook better and more healthier. We would love to be considered for a 6 person meal for 5 night option. Pretty please.

Be fantastic to try with a baby and a 7 year old it’s hard to find the time to cook dinner with bath times, and the baby needing feeding right on needing to cook dinner. And I’m stuck in a rut of cooking the same things every week so def need some new ideas.

I struggle to find meals to make each week. I actually don’t love cooking so this would take the stress out of it so much!!! We have a family of 6 so the pack for 6 people would be amazing. We would love to try this out for you kidspot!!!
My family of 4 would love to try this. Our 14 and 9 year old’s are getting interested in cooking meals but it’s sometimes just so hard working out what to have! With this they can follow the recipe and instructions and will be super eager especially if they’ve chosen meals they enjoy. This will give me a break from cooking that’s for sure and it will be great for them to learn independence in the kitchen.
My home has 2 adults and 2 children who will love something one night and refuse to eat it the next. I start my work day at 2:30am, so when it’s dinner time and the kids put on their fussy attitude, I just wanna pack my bag and run away. Trialing this would make my awake hours so much more stress free.

I would like to take part in reviewing the 4 person option as we are a 2 adult 2 teens family. I have never tried any of these types of meal kits before. I have a new job which is shift work and have found it a struggle to have time and energy to prepare nutritious and tasty meals for us all. I would love to trial this for 5 nights and will happily provide photos of our meals and honest feed back on how I get on. I will register with bargainbox.co.nz. We would love to try the 4 person bargain box. We have been watching the Eat Well for Less program and my 11 year old daughter suggested that we each take turns cooking dinner, after seeing the teenagers cooking in the first weeks episode.
This is our second week of attempting our new routine (which I am loving!) but everyone is a little stuck for meal ideas. This would be perfect as looking at the types of meals they provide, my children could easily follow these recipes (with a bit of help from Mum and Dad if needed). They also look like meals that the whole family would all enjoy. I think it would give them a lot more confidence in the kitchen and it would be a huge help with our busy weeknight after school activities schedule.
I would love to try a box for 4 people please! Im looking for some meal inspiration and find it hard to juggle work, kids and trying to get a decent meal on the table. I think something like this would be awesome to try and see if it works.
Would absolutely love to give Bargain Box a try – we have 2 young boys. Would love to try something new, and different, they complain almost every night that the meals I make are boring!!!! so would be nice to have a change for all of us. Love the idea of using fresh produce, a lot of what we use currently is frozen, pre packaged, and lacks the goodness the kids need.

We know what a struggle it is for our babies to eat dinner because of snacking in the afternoons but, we think different meals could be that change for them. My family would live to try out a bargain box as have yet to work out if its the right fit for us. But love the idea of quick easy meals and lots of variety.
