Bargain Box Choice delivers family favourite recipes at bargain prices, with everything you need delivered to your door by New Zealand’s cheapest meal-kit – and now with added choice for those fussier family members.
What type of food can I typically expect in a Bargain Box Choice delivery?
Every week you can choose from eight recipes packed with goodness that will make you go WHOA! The amazing Bargain Box chefs and taste testers create meals the whole fam will love. They’re packed with plenty of veggies (perfect for growing bodies!), have easy-to-follow instructions, and are super tasty, too!
There will be a selection of proteins to choose from each week i.e. some chicken dinners, some beef etc. as well as two vegetarian meals.
Bargain Box chicken and eggs are free-range, they use sustainably caught fish, and source as many veggies and other ingredients as possible from local suppliers.
Bargain Box Choice options
Bargain Box Choice is available for three, four, or five nights per week and comes in three sizes:
Serves 2: Great for a couple, or 2 adults with a young child
Serves 4: Feeds 4 adults/teens, or 2 adults and 3 kids
Serves 6: Feeds 6 adults/teens, or great for big families

Would love to try Bargain Box for 4
We are a family of 4 with children aged 2 and 3(the picky ages!)
I am a full time working mum, raising my young family whilst studying part time. Inbetween all of this I take care of my husband(probably the biggest baby in our household haha), look after our cat, exercise and try to stay sane! I could really do with a break from meal planning.
I have been an active member on Kidspot and have done multiple video and photo reviews.
Would love to trial this.
Oh yes please would love to be considered wed love to try the four box we have two girls and they love their food but dinner times do become hard especially towards the end of the week when everyone is tired, this would help so much and my oldest daughter loves to try and help in the kitchen 🙂
What a amazing opportunity, we would love to trail a bargain box for 4 for 5 nights, cooking tea is not my strong point I have about 10-15 different things I know how to cook and I don’t seem to venture out further than these meals so with this food box that may help me widen my tea options and help with the kids getting to know different meals. I would love to try the bargain box for 4 people for 5 nights please! For myself partner and our 2 toddlers! My kids are starting to learn to do cooking to with me and it would be great to teach them with this!
Would love to try this for my husband and I and our 2 young children. It’s always hard trying to figure out what to cook every night that will keep everyone happy but is quick and convenient. Anything that makes a chore more fun and less of a chore I’m eager to try!

Every day after school we have something on, tutoring, rugby practice x2, netball, dance lessons x 2.
We are never home before 7pm.
This would take the stress of having to find something for tea quickly or prepare it earlier.

We would absolutely love to trail this as a busy house hold of 5 and a bit of a fussy toddler maybe this will help her to start eating more variety as she can be more involved with helping with these quick easy meals also especially good for my 12yr old who is learning to cook now as we get busy with our wee 6 month old doing her nightly routine this help give our 12yr old more confidence to cook if a success we would continue buying this for our family we would love the box for 4 people please an thank you
Juggling full time work and a family can be a challenge. I find these meal kits help with meal planning as that’s one less thing to think about. Obviously, it does need to be food that the kids will eat. It would be nice to be able to give Bargain Box a go and test it out with the fussy eaters in our household.
I would love to try the two person box for 2 adults and one fussy child. I think we are pretty canny shoppers already but we would like to introduce some more variety to our eating that are quick and easy, as like everyone else, we are always pushed for time during the week 🙁
My family of 4 would love to trial Bargain Box. My 6 year old is very interested in cooking at the moment, he would love to help out preparing these meals. It would also be wonderful for me to have some new recipe inspiration; get out of the same meals all the time rut. It would be great to find some new family favourites by trying something new together.
I would love to trial a 4 person box. Life is getting busier as the kids grow so this would help but also the big kids have decided they would like to cook once a week so having a bargain box would mean miss 9 and Mr 7 could cook up a storm! They’d love it.

This sounds perfect for our busy family of 5, with 3 children at 3 different schools and an after school activity or sport every day afterwards, dinner can sometimes go to the wayside a little. To have one of these to look forward to and plan around each night would be amazing! The 4 person pack would be ideal! 🙂
I would like the 4 person box please, I have three children. But my son has autism and is a very picky eater so he probably will not like the bargain box meals. We visited one of my sisters and she gets bargain box and my daughters loved it so we would like the 5 day box please
We would absolutely love the chance to trial and review a Bargain Box. Our plates have become very full with doctors visits and appointment’s which doesn’t leave much time to meal plan at the moment. With Bargain Box I love the idea of a proper meal plan and meals that are delivered with step by step instructions and all the family can help create. We would love to trial a box for 4 people and we are more than happy to give a extensive review with photos.
This would be amazing to review. As a busy working mum with kids that have after school activities, by the time we are all home its already dinner time. Meaning, always late dinners by the time I prepare something. This would make my life that little bit easier.

Hi there this looks like a awesome opportunity and be great to be chosen for these meals. Would love to be considered for a family of 4. We have not received such as gift like this but to be chosen would mean so much. We have recently been placed into housing after being in emergency housing and homeless. I have my partner my three year old daughter and on occasion we have my partner’s grandson who is 7. I would love, love, love to try the 4 person Bargain Box for our busy 4-person family. Our youngest child (Master 8) ended up in hospital for a month last year and a feeding tube for 3 months for reasons that are still being investigated. As a result of stomach pain and the traumatic experiences of a feeding tube, he has become very hesitant to try new meals yet at the same time is getting over the ‘usual meals’. I would love the opportunity to try a range of different meals, to get him involved in unpacking the box and following the recipes, and hopefully we can re-excite him about food again and maybe find some new favourite dinner meals as well as reinforcing the idea that food and meals can be fun and exciting and very very yummy.

This would be super dooper awesome I would love to try for 2 please my beautiful daughter Maddison who is 8 and myself,with her been busy with after school activities…Brownies,Swimming and Gymnastics this would make the evening meals alot more easier for us both,and it would be wonderful to try something new and different,Maddison and I get very bored with the same boring meals all the time.
