Bargain Box Choice delivers family favourite recipes at bargain prices, with everything you need delivered to your door by New Zealand’s cheapest meal-kit – and now with added choice for those fussier family members.
What type of food can I typically expect in a Bargain Box Choice delivery?
Every week you can choose from eight recipes packed with goodness that will make you go WHOA! The amazing Bargain Box chefs and taste testers create meals the whole fam will love. They’re packed with plenty of veggies (perfect for growing bodies!), have easy-to-follow instructions, and are super tasty, too!
There will be a selection of proteins to choose from each week i.e. some chicken dinners, some beef etc. as well as two vegetarian meals.
Bargain Box chicken and eggs are free-range, they use sustainably caught fish, and source as many veggies and other ingredients as possible from local suppliers.
Bargain Box Choice options
Bargain Box Choice is available for three, four, or five nights per week and comes in three sizes:
Serves 2: Great for a couple, or 2 adults with a young child
Serves 4: Feeds 4 adults/teens, or 2 adults and 3 kids
Serves 6: Feeds 6 adults/teens, or great for big families

Yes please! I’ve always wanted to try bargain box but I get to the payment part and wonder if I’m making the right decision. Love cooking but would like some new things – getting bored of the same dishes but working full time with a toddler and dad working full time the “same” is sometimes the easiest. Please pick me
I would love the opportunity to try the 4 person box I’d like to get my kids into the kitchen with me and I’m told these meals are so easy to prepare and that this is the best way to do it. We are a busy household out many nights of the week after school at various sports and activities so to come home and have dinner ready to cook or even better yet, prepared for me would be amazing.

We as a household would live to trial the 6 person for 5 nights, with 2 teenagers and 2 under 13 who keep us busy with all there extra curricular activities throughout the week we are always struggling to come up with healthy tasty means as each day goes by! Not to mention how fussy kids of all ages can be! Would be great to find something like this as an option for our family 🙂
We would love to participate in this trial. Dinners are becoming such a hassle, and this would definately help. My oldest is now 11 years and starting to be independent and we are wanting him to learn to cook. So this would be a perfect opportunity for him to follow the instructions. We are a family of 4 so would suit the 4 box, but equally would accept the 6 box and have leftovers for lunch. Thnaks for this offer.
4 person pls – this would be amazing as have two very busy girls and throw in work, life, school and then the after school activities life can be very hectic and dinner is the last thing on my mind.
Our family (2 adults, 3 kids) would love to try Bargain Box. My husband works long hours and is often home late, and I am beginning part time work soon. Our 3 children are involved in after school sports and activities every afternoon – netball 5 times a week, hockey 4 times a week, art clubs and dance. With mums Uber running back and forth, there is never enough time to plan and prepare dinner. We would be so grateful for some quick prepare new dinner ideas.
I would love to try out the 4 person box, we’ve tried another company and it was so expensive to keep up with and also the meals were quite small and not all the ingredients were fresh. So it’ll be interesting to try out Bargain Box and see if its something my family love, especially to support our busy lives.

We would love to trial this! Either the box for 2 people or 4 people as we have my step-son week about and our two wee girls every week so either will suit 🙂 As a family of 5 we are so busy and I would love the choice that is offered to find meals that I know the whole whanau will love. The ease of use and everything being available in the meal kit is what appeals to me.
Hi, I would definitely be keen to try the 6 person for 5 nights. As a fulltime student and mum of 3 kids, living with 3 grandparents I also cook for, meal times are such a hassle! I would love to try bargain box because if it is suitable it would be a great option for our family and take so much hassle out of meals for us. I have been reluctant to try myself because I can’t justify the cost if it won’t work for us, a free trial would be a fabulous way to check this out.
We would love to try bargain box as we are forever falling into the trap of something quick and easy which means unhealthy. I would love for us all to eat better we would be needing the 4 person meals.

Would love to try a 6 person pack. With studying fulltime and hubby working fulltime along with 4 kids with special health issues. This would make life a Dream.
Would love to try Bargain Box, with two working parents and running around everyday doing after school activities, its usually dinner on the run. I think meals already sorted in the fridge would be amazing and help preparing dinners in advance that we could just heat up in between sports etc.

It would be fantastic to give the 2 person box a go. I have been preparing our little girls meals seperate from our own for so long it has just become habit. I would love to have ideas for meals that we can eat all together and break this habit.

Our family would love the opportunity to trial this thank you. We are a family of 5. 2 Adults 2 Teens & a tween. Some of us are meat free but the growing teens/tweens still like regular meat meals. We have never tried a meal prep service before. Miss 14 loves to cook so this would really interest her to stay involved with meal prep. My daughter and I would love to try the 2 person box! I love the idea of having a selection of meat and meat free options, this is what we try to do at home as well, especially trying to corporate more meat into our meals at the moment. this would be perfect to trial as I’m always running out of ideas when it comes to dinners for the family. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children. Love the idea that these recipes are kid approved and my little ones love watching and helping me cook in the kitchen. But with 3 kids under 6 this will make dinner time less stressful when it comes to choosing what to cook and love the fact that meals area also packed with veggies.

Wow! These would be a life-saver. We’d love to try a box for 4! Never tried any of the food kits before, but I think it’s about time! Work and life have really been ramping up post-lockdown and I’m feeling way too swamped to cook anything after work! We’veve tried meal prepping and cooking on the weekend, but the kids have just been too fussy… We’d love to give this a go!

We would love to try the box for 4. We have never tried meal-kits but after many years at home with the kids I just returned to work last week and suddenly my meal preparation time has disappeared!! Our kids are very flexible when it comes to eating and will happily devour anything from chickpea curries to meaty casseroles so I’m very confident that they would enjoy the meals too. It would be wonderful to try your meals and I’m very keen to get the kids involved in the meal preparation as I think they could learn a lot and have a lot of fun.

My family would love to be considered for the 6 person box . I have a 17 , 12,10 and 6 year old children and myself and my husband.
It is a struggle cooking for varying tastes and nutritional requirements. This will be great help and would expose my family to different recipes that I wouldn’t otherwise try. And getting in more delicious veggies will be excellent especially to boost immune system during winter. We will appreciate it tremendously. The vegetarian option

Hi there Bargainbox! We would love to try out your delicious meals. We live rurally so do not have not have luxury of just popping down to the dairy or supermarket if we forget something. There are 2 adults who live here and 2 minis (one who will begin solids soon). Would be great to review your service and potentially take the hassle out of every day life
We would love to try these – either the box for 2 or 4. We used to have the other meal plans but those weren’t suited for young kids as we normally ended up shopping for our child plus the box we are getting. We would love to try this company in case it can be more palatable for young kids.
