Bargain Box Choice delivers family favourite recipes at bargain prices, with everything you need delivered to your door by New Zealand’s cheapest meal-kit – and now with added choice for those fussier family members.
What type of food can I typically expect in a Bargain Box Choice delivery?
Every week you can choose from eight recipes packed with goodness that will make you go WHOA! The amazing Bargain Box chefs and taste testers create meals the whole fam will love. They’re packed with plenty of veggies (perfect for growing bodies!), have easy-to-follow instructions, and are super tasty, too!
There will be a selection of proteins to choose from each week i.e. some chicken dinners, some beef etc. as well as two vegetarian meals.
Bargain Box chicken and eggs are free-range, they use sustainably caught fish, and source as many veggies and other ingredients as possible from local suppliers.
Bargain Box Choice options
Bargain Box Choice is available for three, four, or five nights per week and comes in three sizes:
Serves 2: Great for a couple, or 2 adults with a young child
Serves 4: Feeds 4 adults/teens, or 2 adults and 3 kids
Serves 6: Feeds 6 adults/teens, or great for big families

I’m not up to much in the kitchen, and I’ve always been afraid to order something like this in case I can’t cope with it, so it would be great to start with just a few nights a week for me and my kids (a 2 people box would do it).
I would love to try this as I have two kids that I am constantly having to cook different meals for them both and then a different meal for my husband and i, it would be great to get them eating the same as us as I just cant seem to find the right meals that interest them or especially my youngest will even try! I would love to try the 4 person box in the hope that it will save me loads of cooking time and enable my kids to actually eat the same meals and veggies all at once.
I would love to try this for our family of six. Our youngest are 4 years old and trying to get them to eat anything with a hint of flavour is so hard at tea time. I also lack inspiration when it comes to cooking so it would be nice to be able to eat meals that are different to our boring meat and three vege meals!
I would love to trial the 4 person box for 4 nights because as a mum of 3 kids 4years and under it can be challenging coming up with different meal ideals each night that the kids will eat. I like the idea of a meal box, but many are quite pricy and I was concerned that there wasn’t a lot of choice with meal selection previously with bargain box, so the option of choice make it very appealing.
I’d love to try a family of 6 box, We have 4 adults a 3 year old and a 6 month old. I’m super busy and supermarket trips are a little harder having a baby and pre schooler to take along, would also love to try some new recipes we could cook as a family hubby works 4 x night shift so I’m having to cook 2 separate meals which means sometimes thinking of different recipes all the time so we’re not stuck eating the same old.
Wow this would be incredible! My family is really stuck in a rut with our dinners and I’d love for us to try new meals, and branch out from the same old. This could also be a great way to get the kids helping in the kitchen, and learning how to cook for themselves. Life is pretty busy and I’m about to start a new job so this would keep us organised, and get dinner on the table without a fuss. I love that you can choose the meals which will really help with my fussy daughter (I hope!!). The Bargain Box options look delicious with lots of variety.

My family and I would love to be considered for the trail of the family of 4 pack for 5 nights. we have two children one is a great eater whilst the other is pretty picky. As the main cook in the household I am struggling to come up with different meal plans. I have heard wonderful reviews from similar companies however have been sceptical if the meals are big enough for our family. Would love to see for myself the meals that are included and the benefits from doing a bargain box 😊
This would be ideal for us as a time saver so we can spend more time together or doing things we love, while not spending the earth. One pretty fussy eater so having the choice would be amazing!
I would love to try this for our family of 4, its so hard coming up with fresh healthy meals each week, this would take the stress out of it and my 5 year old would love helping out in the kitchen cooking tasty meals.

We’d love to try Bargain Box! My 9 year old is very fussy, so would be great to find some more recipes he’ll eat. I would get him involved, help cook them, and that will fit into his homeschooling quite nicely under the subject Technology.

We would love to be considered for a 6 person box please! A busy family of mum,dad and 5 kids here including a wee babe and our older kids aged 9 and 8 have a goal of learning to cook for the family this year. Bargain box choice would help them to be confident in the kitchen whilst also nourishing their growing hungry bellies!

My family would love to have a trial of bargain box choice please for 4 people, 5 nights. Like others, we struggle juggling full time work and childcare so when it comes to dinnertime, we are time poor and find it difficult to cook something quickly but to also ensure it’s packed full of delicious nutritious food. Me and my little family would love to trial the 2 person box. As a single mum, working full time, meal planning is the last thing on my mind and we often resort to takeaways or quick oven meals. We occasionally get a different brands meal kit on occasion but find it can be a bit pricey.
In the past we haven’t liked the fact you couldn’t chose which meals to have with Bargain Box as my youngest can be quite fussy. The new Bargain Box Choice is awesome as I can get my kids involved in choosing the next weeks meals and have them pick things that they will eat and enjoy which will save me time and stress. My eldest can then help me to cook the dinners as well which will be a big help and we will get some new meal ideas.

This would be a life saver. We would love to trial the served 2 option. Our family is my partner and myself and our 17month old. This would be great to try as a household with a shift worker and a full time teacher meal times are often hectic and end with unhealthy quick cook meals. Would be great to try bath in box designed for kids with my son and big child both being particular eaters. Having the planning and guess work taken out would be great.

We would love to try this, I have just gone back to work full time and my husband also works full time and I have a 6 month old and 3 year old in full time daycare. This makes for busy days and even busier nights. Having a preorganised dinner option sounds amazing and would take the “what to cook” stress out of the evening! This would be an amazing opportunity for a family and our family of two adults and 6 year old twin boys would love to be considered for the 4 person box. My 6 year olds have been a bit fussy lately so I think getting them involved with choosing and making the meals would be a great way to get them eating a wider range of meals again.
