My daughter claimed this straight away !! She attached to her bag when we went out over the holidays and I even saw her attach it to her drawer handle as a reminder to sanitise ! The sanitiser itself wasn’t drying which is an added bonus and actually smelled nice! Will buy another one for myself I think!
I finally received my Dettol instant hand sanitiser gel with clip last week and we gave it a good test over the Easter weekend. We attached it to the strap of the baby bag so it would be easily accessible. I was concerned that it would come off or the lid would pop open but it stayed securely on the bag and the lid remained shut until opened. Having the hand sanitiser readily accessible meant that I wasn’t struggling to find it at the bottom of the bag and my 5 year old could quickly sanitise his hands before he ate. The hand sanitiser gel is a nice product to use; it dries quickly and it doesn’t leave a sticky residue unlike some other hand sanitisers that I’ve used. My hands also don’t feel dry afterwards. Dettol instant hand sanitiser gel is a great product and the clip is so handy! I highly recommend it and I’ll be getting one for my son’s bag for school.

Sorry this review has taken so long, we have had 5 unwell children with a gastro bug . Lucky we had the Dettol Instant Hand Sanitiser Gel with Clip on hand for those unexpected times where hand washing was not possible. I keep it attached to the nappy bag which is super handy with 5 children especially our 1 year old. We will be purchasing more for the children’s school bags which I thought would be a good idea for school. Thanks for choosing us to review you’re great product.
The big difference after we used this handy sanitizer is that I don’t need to remind my kids to wash their hands before eating! Instead they always ask me first to use the sanitizer even before the food is ready!
This was great for my boy, wanted to keep using it, too soon to say whether he will miss the bugs going round our house but fingers crossed 🙂

Thanks for letting us trial this product. Miss teen loved the clip on soft rubber case (which comes off once the bottle is empty). Great size for school bags, handbags and also small enough to go on the plane (in a zip lock bag) on our next trip. I just read that plane tray tables are the most bacteria covered items out there in the world! Will be giving ours a wipe with this product as I find the fragrance nicer than any of the anti bac wipes out there on the market.
This is such a handy idea! The bottle is a great size for popping in the handbag or attaching to a sports bag with the clip. It’s great that the clip can be reused too – it just slides over the bottle. We have used our Dettol hand sanitiser whilst at weekend sports. It’s perfect to use on the sidelines before a snack and also helps to get the greasy sunscreen off hands without having to go and find a bathroom. The aloe vera scent is clean-smelling without being overpowering. Perfect for the emergency kit too.
I have had this hanging on my daughter’s kindy bag all week and she is now in a routine of using it before touching food. It’s so handy and convenient i really want to get some for my other children’s school bags and for my own bag. No need to go fiddling around in the mess i carry around in my bag when it can be right there hanging off the zipper!
Love the convenient size. Easy to find in bags due to the handy clip and I like how this clip can be taken off and reused again. The product itself smelled good and didn’t leave a sticky residue on your hands like some santisers do. I’ve already bought another one to keep in the car! Love the dettol range. Been around forever and trust them. I tried this on my keys but was to big so I hung it in the car which was really useful before getting baby out and after car nappy changes when on our road trip. Didn’t feel the need to attach it to any bag as I just have one slipped into the pocket of the baby bag. Day care already has them on their walls and I dont trust my 3 year old to have one on her own yet. So overall I probably wouldn’t buy this but so glad I got to try it because I would have wanted to know how useful it is. A smaller bottle on my keys would have been ideal. Probably rate this a 6/10 for usefulness. But 10/10 for the actual product itself.
my youngest son is the one who has had the mose use out of this product. he loves it. it used to be a battle to get him to wash his hands. now he washes his hands AND uses the sanitizer, great improvement 🙂
This has been an awesome wee product to trial! My husband and I have recently had our third child so it was been so important that we try to keep her environment as germ free as possible while she’s so young. This has been particularly helpful for Miss 2 and Master 9’s sometimes grubby little hands as they adore their baby sister and are always wanting cuddles. I have attached it to the baby bag and it’s so handy having it right on hand for when we need it most.
Great product very handy to have in the car or clip onto a backpack going out on trips to the park even school trips for the kids to have on handetc.smell nice not a sticky sanitiser which is great. Have used it lots will definitely be buying more thanks for the trial.
We have loved having the detol with clip. I originally had it on my nappy bag for out and about but when my eldest was going on a school trip she asked if she could have it on her school bag. I was worried that the clip might break as my daughter is not exactly gentle with her bag but it has been on there ever since and she loves being able to sanitise her hands when she needs to. I will need to get another one of these for my nappy bag and maybe put one on the clip of the pram. They are really convenient when you have wee ones!
We absolutely loved how handy this product is.
It is clipped onto the side of our baby bag, so it was always in the handiest place & never got lost in the depth of the bag with all the other little bits & bobs babies seem to come with.
Not only was it super handy, it also works so well, ensuring we were all kept clean and safe after the dirtiest of nappy changes!
We needed to replace the bottle a few times, showing how much more we use it now we can always find it when we need it!
This product is awesome!! I’ve alwasy carried around different sanitizers in my bag & just forget that they are there. This detol hand sanitizer with added clip is super convenient! I’ve attacthed mine to my babies pushchair so it’s always being used by me & my children at home & when we are out & about! No more rummaging around at the bottom of my hand bag & no more forgetting! It’s always just right there ready to go! And once the bottle is finished it’s as simple as buying a new one & popping it inside the rubber cover that’s attached to the clip! I love it!
This is a great product and I specifically like how Dettol thought about convenience. It is similar to the 50ml Dettol version but this one allows you to clip the bottle to your bag for easy access and don’t have to rummage our bags for it. It is also easy to replace a new 50ml bottle to it once it is finished.
This was a great hit with Miss 6 at school and especially straight after school before cricket practice. She loved knowing her hands were germ free. I tried it out and the sanitizer itsself is great. Has a nice fresh smell and doesn’t leave your hands oily. Would highly recommend to family and friends.
The product is incredibly handy as you can have it hanging from your handbag so it is always accessible. I found it great for when I got caught out with no access to a public bathroom. Eg after changing my babies nappy whilst out and about. Or for cleaning my toddlers hands before he has a snack. Highly recommend this product as it kills 99.99% of germs , so keeps your family safe.

Wow, thank you for choosing us to trial the dettol instant hand sanitiser, miss 9 loved that it can clip onto her school bag, and the holder was easy enough to replace with a new one once we had used it all up. The smell was a bit strong but faded quickly and was nice on your hands and not drying. We have and will continue to buy this in our grocery shop.

This has been a super handy product to have on hand. I like that when I need to replace it is easy to put another bottle in place. I have been using this in the bathroom while I am toilet training my nearly 3 year old, there are moments when one cannot get to soap and water right away so it is easy to use this product to have clean hands to carry on with what is happening with my son while he is on the toilet or need to be cleaning up other messes etc.
This was awesome, as always. I can’t tell you how many situations I’m in where I need to sanitise both mine, and my kids hands! Two boys who are always on the go, wherever we are, hands all over everything, with multiple trips to the loo. Of course we wash our hands, but on some occasions, it’s such peace of mind to santise their hands when we’re out too, because as much as they’re on the go, hands all over everything, and going to the loo, they’re eating too! Sometimes there’s is no option to wash hands of course, and so much easier, if we’ve been shopping and pushing trollies, opening doors, and after pre-school(!) to santise afterward, especially before eating. The clip on is perfect – mine popped over the pushchair trolley so was easily accessible and not lost! Thanks so much!
My 15 year old is always asking me to buy a new hand sanitiser for her so when I saw this I thought it was a perfect product for her.
Her feedback was that it is very convenient having the clip as it doesn’t get lost and she doesn’t have to open her bag and rummage around for it. It’s not sticky, easy to open and although it has a strong smell, the smell doesn’t linger long.
This has worked well for us. We’ve been illness free so far apart from the toddler (& who can stop 2 year olds that go to daycare getting colds!) It dissolves quickly on your hands without leaving a residue & whilst it does have a strong smell (kinda like alcohol) it disappeared quickly after use. The clip is handy for me to stop losing it in the bottom of the nappy bag. My girls also love cleaning their hands with it though miss 6 can get a bit carried away & squirt out a massive amount!
What an amazing product. So convenient and the case and clip are a godzend for school and kindy. No more lost sanitizer. I’ve replaced it twice now and the cover is still doing its job great – its soft and stretchy so easy to remove old bottle and even easier to get new bottle in and doesn’t seem to stretch out of shape.
The sanitizer itself is nice. Smells good and isn’t sticky or greasy after using.
It would be great if it came in different colours as kids are all about the colour but thats just one minor little suggestion. Thank you Kidspot for the opportunity to trial this product and sorry for the late review – mums life!!
Well this certainly was a hit for miss 10 at school friends use it as well less infections going around yay only down fall is the rubber pocket for the sanitizer needs to be tighter as it’s now had 3bottles go in it an starting to get a Lil bit loose but other then that it’s a great idea an perfect for on the go families like mine
