I loved these so much I’ve brought more so handy pull them out put in big bin easy an convenient they also smell great an they mask any nasty smells for about 2 days we had a friend over baby did a poo an she popped nappy into bin each day I walked past on the night of 2nd day I said it smells like poop bin was nearly full an I remembered about the nappy lol so anyway a great bin liner for all types of people flatties bachelors parents kids bedrooms old people they don’t rip when too fill while pulling out which has happens with other brands over the years
I loved these and have brought two boxes since using my samples. With a family of four including kids who aren’t always the best at finishing meals we do have a bit of food waste with these bags I no longer notice that lingering smell of yesterday’s dinner the next day. I held off reviewing until the weather heated up and I am pleasantly surprised that they are very effective even in the hotter weather. Thanks for letting me review we will be longer term purchases.
These bin liners were amazing!!!! We have a very busy rubbish bin at our home with 2 boys and a husband so usually it gets pretty smelly, but these bags took all of that away for sure, even in this heat!! They were a large size, which was great, and didn’t rip or break when I pulled it out of the bin, which usually is what happens with these kind for us. Thank you for allowing me to review these and I will be buying more in the future. Highly recommend for people looking for a great rubbish bag to use. Oh and the price was reasonable also which is a must!
I’m LOVING these bin liners. When you first open them the perfume is fairly strong but it doesn’t take long in the summer heat for rubbish to get smelly so we’re so glad it’s taken care of that! My husband who normally just uses the old plastic bags from the shopping was reluctant to change and start buying them, but since he no longer has to worry about holes in the bottom of bags, spills and tears he’s a convert! I’ve already bought another pack in the weekly shop and was surprised how reasonably priced they were. Will definitely continue to buy these, thank you!!
I usually use the lavender glad bags in my rubbish bin but I have to say these ones are much better. The smell when you open the packet is quite strong but once in the rubbish bin you don’t notice it & I did notice that it kept the bin odours away better than the lavender ones. As with the other glad ones they’re great at holding a lot and not tearing easily. We’ve now had a few days at home with a newborn and so far the stinky nappy smell has been kept at bay. Will definitely add these to the shopping list now.
Thanks for sending these to review. They were a large size for my bin, which was good as rubbish didn’t go down the sides like usual. The fragrance was pleasant, although in summer I would be changing the bag a lot anyway, so perhaps not so economical. Definitely better than supermarket bags with holes in them, and I will probably purchase more depending on the pricing. Cheers
Thanks for the chance to review these bags. We got the large ones. On opening, I find the perfume to be very strong and a bit overwhelming. I was quite pleased with how the perfume masked the rubbish smell though, so was fairly pleased with them. They masked the smell for 3 or 4 days also. The bags were strong, and easy to tie up, which was great! They didn’t split or spill on the way to the outside bin. I will buy these again and I’d be willing to pay a bit more than usual. I’ll see how much they are when I do the groceries. I’ve actually still got one left in the kitchen drawer with the plastic bags, smells very fresh now 🙂 All in all, a nice product.
These bags smell soooo good but unfortunatelydo not fit our bin without tearing so put another (plain) one inside it, if they do an XLR one then I’ll buy them just because it is a really nice smell, they do seem a little thin also. I never remember what plastic bags I buy for our rubbish bin and am constantly disappointed when I get home and open what I buy and the plastic is flimsy or they arent big enough. These bags were a great size and durable material that didnt rip when pulling out of our bin. The scent was subtle enough to be smelt but not overbearing. I must admit I did go to the supermarket to purchase these however when comparing them with my previous products I felt they were quite overpriced so didnt purchase. Definitely better quality though but would consider buying at a slightly lesser price.
We really enjoyed giving these a go! We got the large size which is too big for our standard bin so when we buy it we will go for medium. My first thought when i opened it was ‘i hate them’ i just wasnt a fan of their smell. However, it is better than the rank rubbish smell. One lasted us 3 days and it really does help mask the smell. The bags are easy to tie and remove and most importantly they are really strong. We will buy them again, especially over summer.
For the first time I didn’t like a product I fell bad. 🙁 I found that the perfume/smell on some of the other glad products lasts longer.
These were awesome, we normally use plastic bags as our rubbish bags and just hang them on a door in the kitchen. With the things that go into them they smell pretty bad! However with these bags, we could leave them for 4 days and they still did not smell, despite having many different bits of rubbish in them! They hold a great amount, and for us are great as we can leave them for 4 days without them smelling or ripping. Thanks for letting us try your product 🙂
These Glad kitchen tidy liners are amazing!! I was a bit skeptical, but now I will never go back to using supermarket shopping bags. They are a big generous size, meaning I didn’t have to change our rubbish bin daily. I actually left one in for 5 days until it was full, and there was no odour, even though it was full of onion skins etc. It was great to be able to use our bin to the full capacity, not just the top third! There was absolutely no leakage and the bags felt super strong so I didn’t feel worried that it would split open before I got it to the wheelibin outside. The vanilla scent was quite pleasant and didn’t smell really overpowering like some other rubbish bags. It also stopped the little flying insects we had hanging around our bin in the kitchen/laundry. They are magic, I would highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you Glad and Ambi Pur for the trial, you now have another happy customer 🙂
I would love to use this kitchen bin liners in my newly renovated kitchen pls. 3 diff sizea wpuld be great for all the diffrent bins around the house.

I’ve now used all 4 of the trial bags. Overall, I was happy with the product as I learnt which size would be best suited for my needs and the kind of rubbish I’d place in them. I wouldn’t recommend it solely for nappies as they can be quite foul-smelling in the hot summer weather and the smell wouldn’t be contained past 3 days. If you do choose to use it for that purpose, I’d personally go for a smaller bag. Let’s face it, in NZ the rubbish is collected on a weekly basis so using a large size bag isn’t probably a good idea unless you can stand the smell. The other reason why I wouldn’t use a large bag is because nappies can get very heavy and it becomes hard to lift out of your bin without overstretching the bag too much to the point of breaking. I would personally use the smaller sized bags and for food waste such as bones, fruit peels and vegetable scraps that can’t be disposed of in the insikerator. Thanks for opprtunity to trial these. My partner is in charge of taking out trash at our place and usually always moans about alternative brands I buy, he however loved these bags. They smell great and help eliminate smells from food waste and nappies in particular, also great size and thickness.
Perfect timing of getting to trial these amazing bags. We had a friends and family Xmas BBQ and there was a lot of food scraps and rubbish created. Throughout the day each time the cupboard door was opened for the rubbish bin, you could smell the Ambi Pur scent from the bags. I particulary liked the scent and it made the room feel fresh and clean. For my own kitchen bin, these bags were way to big in size, so I would purchase size small for a bin not much bigger than a bucket size.
When I received the samples to trial I was a little skeptical. I mean really? Odour control for 4 days? Seems a bit out there but I decided to really put them to the test. I mix using disposable and cloth nappies and have a reasonably large bin (a medium bag would do it but I like a little bigger to be safe). I try to minimise plastic going into landfill so I try not to empty the bin until it is full. My son is just starting on solids so the dirty nappies we are getting are pretty intense and reasonably frequent. We have been using the Lavender scented bags as they are big, strong, and help mask the odour however I just ended up with lavender scented poo smell which really put me off that scent of bags. Our outside bin is a LONG way from his change table and wrestling a bag of nappies and a child is very difficult. When I opened up my sample I was expecting to be overwhelmed by a scent but was really pleasantly surprised. It was a very subtle scent and was pleasant smelling. My husband thought I had gone mad when I ran over and made him sniff it but he commented on how it smelt really good. I popped it in the bin and it was a good size for me (large). Almost immediately we had three successive smelly, dirty nappies so in the bin they went. These bags are amazing. There was no lingering odour and each time I lifted the lid on the bin expecting a smell there was nothing. The first bag stayed in there for 3 days before the bin filled but there was no odour at all. Even my mum thought they were amazing. The handles are strong and make it easier to empty and carry to the bin. Much better than the wavetop bags. They were also tough and didn’t look like they would split in a hurry. On day 3 I went and brought a box of them. They are well priced and worth every cent. I have given the rest of my samples to Mum so she can try them out as I was sold on them from the first bag. My husband and I would highly recommend these bags and I am happy to say they proved my inner skeptic wrong.
These were great for the nappy bin!! I found the scent lasted longer than the 4 days that they advertise. I found the bags really strong which is great when you have a bin full of heavy nappies amd there is nothing worse than the bag breaking as you try to pull it out and stinky nappies fall everywhere. Really great quality and the fragrance was pleasant but not super overpowering. Overall happy with these bags and will define adding them to the shopping cart
Glad Handle Tie Kitchen Tidy Liners with Ambi Pur were fantastic. I loved opening the bin cupboard and getting a lovely scent instead of the usual stench. I usually take smelly nappies straight to the outside bin but with Glad Handle Tie Kitchen Tidy Liners with Ambi Pur I popped them in the inside bin. Glad Handle Tie Kitchen Tidy Liners with Ambi Pur were strong enough to handle all our rubbish. I didn’t need to worry about the bag bursting. Having the handle ties also made it easy for the kids to empty the bin and take it to the outside bin. I would definitely buy Glad Handle Tie Kitchen Tidy Liners with Ambi Pur. Maybe not the large as they were too big for our bin. I’d happily recommend them to friends and family.

I put the bags to the test with some fairly stinky items, and they did a good job of keeping the smell to a minimum. The bags seem to be quite strong, and we had no problems with them ripping. So I got to trial the large sized bags. They are perfect sizing for our rubbish bin. As soon as we got these I felt one of the four and Omg they smell absolutely amazing. My daughter then grabbed one for inside her little bin in her bedroom because she loves the smell so much she was hoping it would make her bedroom smell just as great. We have used inside a council bag as we have to use council bags for the rubbish. I think this was also safest as I think these would rip quite easily by themselves and need to be made a bit thicker. Other than that I found these great and the odor of rubbish is no longer smelt in our house just a nice fresh clean smell instead. Thanks kidspot for another great trial
What a lovely smell coming from our bin these days!!!! 🙂 Very pleasant vanilla scent, just right, not too much of it to make it unbearable. Easy to use, strong hold, easy to take out and tie to put in the big rubbish bin. I will definitely purchase these again, very happy with these. Thank you for the opportunity to trial these!
Thanks for letting my family trail these bags. Vanilla is my favourite scent so these made my bins smell fresh for a couple days. Best part off these bags was the carry handles making it easy to transfer to the outside bin

I just loved these liners. The nice smell really did make a difference and reduced the vile smells generally coming from the garbage bags. The bags were sturdy and held lots of rubbish. I will definitely be continuing to buy these bags. I think they were great and they certainly loved up to my expectations.
We have really enjoyed using these bags. Not only were they strong enough to withhold the large amount of rubbish we go through (no ripping when you pull them out the bin) but they smell good to boot. Not that horrible toilet freshener strong smell of other bin liners but a really nice light smell. The smell was also enough to cover the smell of all the nappies (i have 3 in nappies) so an amazing job. These are on my shopping list this week 🙂
Thank you for letting our family trial these Glad Liners for our rubbish and toilet bins. The Vanilla smell is lovely and we didn’t find the smell too over-powering or strong. We received the Large which is a bit big for our kitchen and toilet bins, we would probably go with the Medium when purchasing for our Kitchen and Toilet bins. Great they come in different sizes. The smell does start to disappear after about two days we found but every now and then you will get a slight lovely smell and its nice. Does seem to keep nasty smells away. Was great in the toilet room as smaller area so can really notice a lovely smell. The bags are sturdy and strong, the tie handles are just awesome. Nice and easy to discard rubbish etc. Have not noticed these in the stores yet so yet to comment on the prices. I do really love the idea of these bags though, specially good for summer-time to keep nasty smells away. Recommend!
