We were so grateful to receive these products to review. I often purchase fruit noodles for the kids lunchbox but hadn’t seen the other products before so it was great to try another product from New Zealand Apple.
Q1. Had you heard about New Zealand Apple Products before this trial? Yes we regularly purchase the fruit noodles
Q2. Which product did you/the kids like the best and why? The kids love the fruit noodles as they love a sweet treat in their lunch box. The kids wernt keen on the texture of the Apple chips but I liked them and would be happy to re purchase as a snack for my own lunch.
Q3. Where would you like to buy this product from? Pak n Save or New world
Q4. Would you purchase from the New Zealand Apple Products online store? No I would prefer to get in the weekly supermarket shop
Q5. Would you purchase other products from this company? if so, which ones? Yes we would be happy to continue buying the fruit noodles in a variety of flavors.
Q6. Would you recommend New Zealand Apple Products to friends and family? Yes I would.
Baby Fruit Purées
My 12 month old tried all 5 over 5 days. I used the leftovers from the pouches to make little fruit ice blocks which went down a treat as an in between meal snack.
Q1. I had never heard or seen any of the NZ fruit products before reading about it on Kidspot.
Q2. My daughter liked them all but the two standouts were ‘Apple, banana, pear, kiwifruit’ and’ Apple banana and blueberry’. Those two went down very quickly and in greater quantity than normal with fruit purées.
Q3. I would normally buy pouches from primarily Pak n Save or Countdown (which tends to have a bigger range). I would buy these from the supermarket or online.
Q4. I am comfortable buying from an online store. I would still be looking for value, not necessarily the cheapest. With the online store I would prefer a mixed carton (of up to 25) rather than 12 of the same. I did note these pouches are 25% smaller than the standard size of other ranges and worked out a little bit more expensive. I would still buy some as the fruit mixes are not available in other ranges.
Q5. Apart from fruit purées, I like the look of the fruit snacks – noodles and apple ring products look like handy, healthy snacks for my growing daughter.
Q6. Yes, I would recommend. I already talked to my Antenatal group about them – the range of flavours of the purées is great and the snacks in the online store are a good convenient alternative to fresh fruit.
I use purée fruit products quite a lot as my daughter enjoys them and is not eating a lot of fresh fruit yet. I think I will continue to use them as a handy dessert or ice snack for a long while yet.
Baby Fruit Purée
We were lucky enough to receive 5 baby fruit purees to trial. My son ( 2yrs old) was actually very sick last week and he lost his appetite. You will be pleased to know that he finished the 5 pouches in the first 2 days of us receiving them and now he is insisting on more….so I will definitely be ordering some more.
Q1. Had you heard about New Zealand Apple Products before this trial? No I had never heard of them.
Q2. Which product did you/the kids like the best and why? Baby Puree enjoyed all flavors equally.
Q3. Where would you like to buy this product from? The supermarket for ease and online will also be fine if delivery is free.
Q4. Would you purchase from the New Zealand Apple Products online store? yes, but only if delivery if free
Q5. Would you purchase other products from this company? if so, which ones? Yes, first need to try others but very keen on the fruit noodles and the apple rings.
Q6. Would you recommend New Zealand Apple Products to friends and family? yes they make great snacks/even meals and its convenient whilst being full of nutrients, no preservatives.
My son loved the Apple Chips which he found fun too and the Tropical Drink was gorgeous. A lovely change for him to have Apple Chips with no added sugar and much better for him than potato chips! Makes me feel much more responsible as a parent.
We have purchased both the fruit noodles and fruit hitz in the past but have never seen the chips .
Both my boys (8 and 11) weren’t big fans of the chips, they found both the taste and texture ‘funny’, I on the other hand loved them and would happily buy them again for myself! My 8 year old found the taste of the noodles a bit strong and wasn’t a huge fan but my 11 year old loved them, he also hoovered the fruit hitz and asked me to buy more.
I wouldn’t buy online unless postage was free, as they are readily available at my local supermarket. I’d definitely suggest to friends and family to buy them for something different to add to lunchboxes.
I’ve got a 2 year old and a 5 year old so the product mix was really good for that age. Interestingly both of them jumped on the puree first hehe. And I had to give them each one sip from the pouch. They totally loved it and wanted more.
Apple crisps were the same and I felt it was a good innovative product.
With the noodles I don’t think they both were very keen. Probably because they had already had too much apple from the other two things. Or perhaps the texture wasn’t what they normally like….as they are more into chips
But I am so glad I learnt about this range through kidspot
We got to try out and review the wonderful Snack Pack from New Zealand Apple Products! We got the Dried NZ Apple Chips, the Boysenberry and Apple Fruit Noodles, and the Fruit Hit Tropical fruit puree pouch.
Prior to this trial I hadn’t specifically heard of New Zealand Apple Products, though think I may have seen the Apple Chips in the supermarket.
We tried all 3 for afternoon tea one afternoon. Of the 3 products my 4yo’s favourite was the puree, he just loves it and basically finished the lot. He said he loved it “because it has apple and pineapple in it”.
Where’s for my 2yo it was the Apple Chips she loved and kept asking for more.
I liked that they were all Gluten Free and safe for my Coeliac 4yo to have, plus reasonably healthy as a snack as part of a varied diet.
If I was to purchase these for my kids I would hope to find them in a mainstream supermarket, as I would be unlikely to go out of my way to purchase online.
In terms of other products this company sells I’d be interested in finding their Apple Sauce maybe, by don’t think there other products would suit my family.
We really enjoyed trying out these products, and each child found something they really liked in the snack pack we tried. I’d definitely recommend them to family and friends and hope to find the puree pouches in a supermarket soon!
Baby Fruit Purée
My 7 month old daughter enjoyed the baby fruit purées. I had heard of New Zealand Apple Procucts before but I didn’t realise they made baby fruit purées. The fruit flavours are such lovely combinations and she enjoyed the apple, banana, pear and mango the best. These are great convenient on the go solutions and you can keep one in your nappy bag. My daughter isn’t a big eater yet and so 1 packet lasts a couple days and if she hasn’t finished it by then I put it into a smoothie for the older kids; no waste. I’ve tried it myself and the fruit puree taste delicious.
I discovered on the New Zealand Apple Products website that they they sell online and offer free shipping over $50, which is really handy if you do a big order. But I would prefer to purchase it from my local supermarket as part of my regular shop. I found that they also do Apple chips which I would like to try as I think the older kids will really enjoy, as it says it’s crispy.
I definitely recommend the baby fruit purées as they are delicious, made in New Zealand and has no preservatives or additives.
Thank you for letting us trial the baby fruit purées, we will definitely be putting this on the shopping list!
Baby fruit purees
Before this trial I hadn’t heard of New Zealand apple products before now I will definitely be purchasing the Baby fruit purées again. Our daughter who has just turned one loved them, literally every packet she loved and ate it all her favourite being the Banana, Apple, Strawberry and Raspberry although they all seemed to be enjoyed so it was hard to pick a favourite.
Based on how much our daughter liked them and how convenient they were I’d definitely want to buy again. I’d hope they’d be available at any of the major supermarkets as I’d be more likely to purchase if they were easily accessible then remembering to purchase online.
I hope to try the Apple chips for my older son (six years old) who is autistic and very sensitive with food textures which makes it hard to get fruit and veggies into him.
All in all I was very impressed with the Baby fruit purées and would recommend to friends and family with kids.
Received Fruit Hitz Dried Apple Chips 30g bag, Fruit Noodles Boysenberry & Apple 30g bag, and Fruit Hitz Tropical Fruit 90g pouch
Q1. Had you heard about New Zealand Apple Products before this trial? No
Q2. Which product did you/the kids like the best and why? Loved the dried apple chips and Fruit Hitz pouch
Q3. Where would you like to buy this product from? Supermarker
Q4. Would you purchase from the New Zealand Apple Products online store? Maybe
Q5. Would you purchase other products from this company? if so, which ones? Yes
Q6. Would you recommend New Zealand Apple Products to friends and family? absolutely
Baby fruit purees
I gave 2 of these a taste test myself and found the texture great, nice and smooth, but I could taste the sourness of the lemon. My son enjoyed them and wasn’t bothered by the lemon. The favorite was the raspberry. I found the squirting pouch convenient but would prefer something recyclable. I had never heard of these products before and would definitely buy from the supermarket as I don’t usually buy directly from a website. I would recommend them to friends with babies. I would definitely try other products from this company.
I was given the opportunity to review the New Zealand Apple Products. We sampled the Fruit Hitz Tropical Fruit (pouch), Fruit Noodles Boysenberry & Apple and Apple Chips. All the packaging looks great and all are easy to open. The Tropical Fruit flavoured pouch and Apple Chips were the definite winners. We found that the Fruit Noodles tasted like cardboard so it would be interesting to try a different flavour to compare. I also thought they were a bit tough to eat for myself and the kids.
Q1. Had you heard about New Zealand Apple Products before this trial? No
Q2. Which product did you/the kids like the best and why? My kids and I absolutely loved the Apple Chips!! They are super tasty, full of flavour with the perfect amount of crunchiness. I love that there is no added sugar, preservatives, additives or sulphites. It was a shame when the packet was finished.
Q3. Where would you like to buy this product from? From all supermarkets. Our local one is Pak n Save and I have seen the Apple Chips available there.
Q4. Would you purchase from the New Zealand Apple Products online store? No, only because I would have to pay extra for freight unless I ordered a bulk lot. I would purchase as part of my normal supermarket shop.
Q5. Would you purchase other products from this company? if so, which ones? Yes, I would like to try the Fruit Noodles in a different flavour. We though that the Boysenberry and Apple flavour tasted like cardboard.
Q6. Would you recommend New Zealand Apple Products to friends and family? Yes definitely! They are super tasty and there are no added extra nasties. The prices for the products are very reasonable too which make them a great snack for lunch boxes.
I received the apple products and gave them to my grandchildren to try – Grandson – 13 and granddaughter 6. They both liked the Tropical Fruit Hitz pouch, though both commented that while they liked it, it that it was very sweet. I tasted it and while true to flavour I have to agree it was very sweet. The apple crisps were liked by my 6 year old granddaughter – she said they were yummy. The 13 year old didn’t like them saying that while they were a true apple flavour they weren’t crisp enough for him. I tried them also and tend to agree with him – I was expecting them to be crisper. The fruit noodles, boysenberry and apple were a big hit with both of them and were the favourite out of all 3 products, yummy flavour, tasted like real fruit and not too sweet.
My thoughts – the Fruit Hitz pouch is a good size for a snack, but because of the sugar content I wouldn’t be giving it to them often. I felt the packs for the apple crisps and fruit noodles were too big if using in lunch boxes which is where I see them being used. Smaller, individual size packets would be better.
Q.1 – I hadn’t heard about NZ Apple products before trialling these.
Q 2 – The product my grandkids liked best were the boysenberry and apple fruit noodles – yummy tasting, true to flavour and not too sweet.
Q 3 – I’d prefer to buy this product from my supermarket – New World as this means I’m not travelling/visiting different stores to get them.
Q 4 – I probably wouldn’t purchase from the online store, mostly because I wouldn’t be buying larger quantities of them at one time and buying smaller quantities would be uneconomic because of shipping.. Also I don’t do alot of online shopping.
Q 5 – Not sure, but the freeze dried mixed berry and fruit medley products might be something I would try as I think the kids would like these as well.
Q 6 – Yes I’d recommend them as overall they are a reasonably healthy on the go snack, though some of my family may find some too sweet as we did. Can the sweetness be toned down a little?
My 20 month old son tried the baby fruit purées and loved it! We haven’t heard about New Zealand Apple Products before, so was quite excited to try it. I love that it’s made in New Zealand and how it has no preservatives or additives and is made from 100% natural fruit. It’s a great on the go snack and he also enjoyed it when I mixed it into his porridge or yoghurt. His favourite was the Apple, Banana and Blueberry pouch. It would be great to buy these from our local supermarket like Pak n Save or Countdown. I would also buy from their online store if it worked out cheaper or they did a subscription or loyalty program. We would also love to try other products from the New Zealand Apple Products like the Apple Chips. Would highly recommend the purées to friends and family. Definitely will buy some for my son and also our other baby on the way when she’s ready to have solids!
Baby fruit purees
These were a hit with our 3-year-old (who still loves pouches). He had previously had the Fruit Hitz ones and enjoyed them. He was keen on each of the flavours, especially the ones with berries. I hope this product will be available at a range of supermarkets and maybe The Warehouse and Chemist Warehouse etc. I doubt I’d buy them online due to the freight costs. I’d certainly buy them again provided the price was competitive with the Wattie’s ones. We can recommend these new purees – both in terms of taste and nutritional composition.
Baby fruit purees
We really enjoyed these, the size was a good size for babies (he at about 2/3 of the pouch and then master 2.5 helped his little brother finish it off hahaha.
Was really impressed with the ingredient list and will definitely buy again.
Q1. Had you heard about New Zealand Apple Products before this trial?
No they don’t appear to be in our local supermarket yet
Q2. Which flavour did baby like the best?
Banana, apple and pear
For baby products I would be interested in more products with less different ingredients… just that i would prefer to introduce one or two fruits at a time rather than 3 or 4 when just starting out.
Q3. Where would you like to buy this product from?
Ideally New World however I would purchase online but would need to be cheaper than in store or with free shipping
Q4. Would you purchase from the New Zealand Apple Products online store?
As above, price would need to be the same or cheaper (including shipping) as buying from supermarket
Q5. Would you purchase other products from this company? if so, which ones?
I would like to try the older kids snacks as we are always looking for things to put in his lunchbox that he will eat that is healthy!
Q6. Would you recommend New Zealand Apple Products to friends and family?
yes
Baby Fruit Purées:
My daughter is 13 months old and I often buy fruit pouches as a little snack for her as sometimes it’s hard to get her to eat while fruits! She absolutely loved these as soon as it was in her mouth it was gone!
Q1. Had you heard about New Zealand Apple Products before this trial? I had never heard of this product before
Q2. Which flavour did baby like the best?
All of them! But my choice would be: apple, banana and golden kiwifruit (I love the kiwifruit for poop help haha)
Q3. Where would you like to buy this product from?
Supermarkets
Q4. Would you purchase from the New Zealand Apple Products online store?
Yes I would if it was cheaper than supermarkets or if I was buying in carton sizes.
Q5. Would you purchase other products from this company? if so, which ones?
Yes I would consider buying other products – if my children would eat them!
Q6. Would you recommend New Zealand Apple Products to friends and family?
Yes absolutely
Firstly I would like to thank you for reviewing these products, my kids loved it.
I have heard of New Zealand Apple products before this but I have never bought this myself to try My kids loved everything but loved the apple crisps the most. They found it nice and crispy with a suttle sweetness. I would buy it online or in the shop if it is peovided in our local supermarkets. I would def recommend it to my friends and family that is keen for a healthier alternative.
I had the pleasure of being accepting to acquire my 9 & 13 year old foodies to trial these treats!!
We are always on the look out for new yummy products to fill our pantry with as these two boys hooooover food like were running out!
We have never heard of this range of products before so we were thrilled to get a chance to try these products, The boys looooved the Fruit noodles they compared them to the Annies fruit bars that they like! The flavor was different to the ones that we can get so they really liked having a new flavor! Mr9 drunk the the fruit hits tropical flavor pouch so quickly that they will be going on the shopping list as soon as we can find them in-store. The apple chips were a bit of a miss with both boys though – one said it was too sour and the other just preferred the fruit noodles, But we would love to see other fruit options in the future maybe banana chips or something like that?
All in all the boys were very happy with these new products and all but the apple chips we would definitely repurchase! Thanks Kidspot!!
We would hope to find these products on the shelf at the supermarket close to the meusli bars and similar products or we may miss them – We probably wouldnt buy them online as i wouldnt be looking for these online i would expect them to be on the shelves.
We recommended these to family with kids too to try something different and the
Baby fruit purees
Thank you Kidspot for the opportunity to review NZ Apple Products Baby Fruit Purees. My almost 7 month old baby tried the baby fruit purees and he seemed to really enjoy the flavours. The purees were perfect for his stage of development- smooth and runny enough to be fed straight from the pouch without needing to add extra liquid. I liked that the purees contained a mixture of fruits- especially added pear or kiwi fruit which ensured that there was lots of fibre for the little one, he had issues with constipation previously but no such issues with these purees. The fact that the purees had the same apple base made it easy to introduce baby to new fruits, like mango and blueberry, one by one. One pouch was sufficient for two small meals for my son. It would also be great to have some savoury/ vegetable purees on offer.
Q1. Had you heard about New Zealand Apple Products before this trial? No
Q2. Which product did you/the kids like the best and why? Banana, apple and pear puree- baby was already familiar with these fruits and it wasn’t too sour, we liked that it had higher banana ratio for the taste and also pear for fibre
Q3. Where would you like to buy this product from? Pak’n’Save and Countdown
Q4. Would you purchase from the New Zealand Apple Products online store? Possibly if it works out cheaper but more likely to buy baby food from the supermarket at this stage
Q5. Would you purchase other products from this company? if so, which ones? Yes when my baby is older, I would like to try the apple chips or the apple rings
Q6. Would you recommend New Zealand Apple Products to friends and family? Yes definitely, the products were good quality
Baby fruit purees
This trial was the first time I had heard of the New Zealand Apple products so we were very excited to try these out with our little one who has just begun her food journey. A previous brand of puree we tried had a grainy/gritty texture to it. This in comparison was quite smooth and thin which I liked especially for our baby’s current stage of development. As she gets older and requires more textured foods this would be the perfect addition to flavour yoghurt, weetbix or baby muesli. The flavour range was fantastic and her favourites were apple, banana, pear and golden kiwifruit and the apple, banana, strawberry and raspberry. Our 4 year old also loved trying these so we were happy to see you also sell fruit hitz and apple sauce which we will be purchasing for her lunch box. We would purchase from Countdown or New World supermarkets. I would also buy from your website. I am happy to buy the 12 bulk pack and like that there is free shipping over $50. As a suggestion it would be great to be able to purchase a 12 bulk pack containing a mix of flavours.
Our older ones would definitely love to try the fruit noodles and apples chips too. We were very happy with the quality, texture and taste of the fruit purees so would happily recommend the New Zealand Apple Products.
Baby Fruit Purées:
I had the opportunity to review these products with my eleven month old and three year old. I regularly purchase other brands fruit pouches for my wee ones meals and on the go snacks for him and my three year old girl who eats pouches at every available opportunity!
They are great for freezing then popping into the lunchbox.
They both enjoyed them and I like they are natural with no added sugar.
I had not heard of these products before the trial.
The Apple, banana, strawberry and raspberry was the favourite in this household.
I would purchase these in future from my local supermarket, either Countdown or New World. I would be unlikely to purchase online as it is more convenient to buy along with my weekly shop as I do currently.
I would try other products from the company especially apple chips as my kids enjoy other brands but I would also try other products.
I would definitely recommend these pouches to friends and family.
Thanks again for this opportunity.
Arrived in the post, on Monday for miss Autumn-rose 7 months to try.
We received the baby fruit purée.
I found then to be far to runny to spoon feed to be honest.I struggled to feed as it just ran off the spoon. I found it to be so much easier mixing with her wheat-bix or custard. Also far too much banana and all it did was over power the other tastes. All in all she liked them all as she is a easy baby to feed solids and is just a bottomless pit lol. Def would buy in the future if less banana is added and a little thicker. 8/10 from this mama bear.
Q1. Had you heard about New Zealand Apple Products before this trial? No I had never heard of them.
Q2. Which product did you/the kids like the best and why? She liked them all as she just loves her food lol she tried all the baby purée.
Q3. Where would you like to buy this product from? The supermarket for ease and buying when needed.
Q4. Would you purchase from the New Zealand Apple Products online store? Not really as I have to plan in advance by buying in advance and then waiting for delivery.
Q5. Would you purchase other products from this company? if so, which ones? Yes If less banana
Q6. Would you recommend New Zealand Apple Products to friends and family? I will recommend them to friends and family as they are a great way to get bubs to try different fruits.
Baby Fruit Purées:
Very excited to have this finally arrive due to a slight courier hiccup. Having never heard or seen this brand before I was very impressed with the flavour range, the pouches are the perfect size and easy to open and it looks and smells like there is actually real fruit in them.
The apple, banana, strawberry and raspberry flavour was definitely a winner mixed in with cereal for breakfast.
Would love to be able to get these from the local supermarket but at this stage I am more than happy to purchase them online and support a nz company.
I would love to try the freeze dried fruit as my next purchase and to see if my older boys like them as well. Highly recommended! And will most definitely purchase these products in the future.
Firstly the names of the products were a great success with my children- Chips and Noodles, meant my boys were already excited to trial these.
I have seen these products in New World before but had not purchased. as I have always thought fresh apples are healthier.
The apple chips were our favourite as sweet and not tangy like the noodles.
Having these products in all supermarkets makes it easy to purchase.
I only food shop in store so not needed online for me.
I’d definitely try more products for my boys. Other fruit chips I wonder.
Yes I recommend these to family and friends.
Mostly they are excellent lunchbox food ideas and out on picnics.
We were lucky enough to try the Fruit Hitz Baby Fruit Purées. These were a hit with my son! He liked every single flavor and finished the whole pouch in one go. I found these pouches good to get a variety of fruits into him, and they were also handy to just through one in the nappy bag while out and about for a quick snack/meal.
Prior to receiving this trial I had not heard of Fruit Hitz Baby Fruit Purées before but I will definitely be buying them again, especially if available in local supermarkets. I would recommend them to family and friends.
Baby Fruit Purées:
Well what can I say, as soon as I put the spoon in my twins mouth the packets were gone like that!!
Q1. Had you heard about New Zealand Apple Products before this trial? I had never heard of this product before
Q2. Which flavour did baby like the best?
All of them!! But apple, banana, strawberry and raspberry.
Q3. Where would you like to buy this product from?
Supermarkets
Q4. Would you purchase from the New Zealand Apple Products online store?
Yes I would if it was cheaper than supermarkets
Q5. Would you purchase other products from this company? if so, which ones?
Yes I would consider buying other baby products
Q6. Would you recommend New Zealand Apple Products to friends and family?
Yes totally!!
I saw these in my local supermarket yesterday I will totally be buying more. Then only minor downside was the are smaller pouches than say watties etc
and with me feeding two babies at a time I need value for money. But my boys loved them, I see why they didn’t last long as I tasted them and YUM, thanks for considering us.
We will be buying more that’s for sure.
Baby Fruit Purées:
I have seen the kids fruit pouches before, but never bought them.
Baby liked, no, LOVED all the flavours. Ive never seen him wolf down food like this before! He didn’t seem so keen on the apple/banana/pear/mango, he did eat it, just slower and over two servings.
I would like to be able to purchase these from Paknsave – I noticed the other products in store, but not the baby pouches. I would only purchase from the online store if it was significantly cheaper than buying from the supermarket. Otherwise I just prefer to add a few to the trolley when I’m out.
I would like to try the kids apple snacks on my older children aged 2 & 4, as I have unfortunately got them hooked on ‘bad snacks’.
These were a great way to encourage my son to try solids, and I would definitely recommend the baby pouches to others.
Q1. Had you heard about New Zealand Apple Products before this trial?
A1. No
Q2. Which product did you/the kids like the best and why?
The fruit hitz ,loved the flavours and so easy to use
Q3. Where would you like to buy this product from?
Any of the local supermarkets
Q4. Would you purchase from the New Zealand Apple Products online store?
No
Q5. Would you purchase other products from this company? if so, which ones?
Not sure
Q6. Would you recommend New Zealand Apple Products to friends and family?
A6. Yes.
First we tried the fruit noodles ,my grandchildren were eager to see what they looked like and tasted .
They weren’t really Impressed and a very small amount ,bit disappointing, however they did have a nice tangy flavour and definitely tasted of apple and boyensberry ,weren’t a great hit ,I think the texture wasn’t exactly to our liking ,would have preferred a softer texture .
Next we all tried the apple crisps ,we all liked the flavour ,just like real apples ,again texture wasn’t to our liking would like them to be crisper ,as the name suggests ,were quite soft and chewy with just a hint of crispness around the edges ,weren’t a great hit but were still eaten all the same .
Lastly my grandchildren tasted the fruit hitz ,now this they really liked ,they loved the taste the texture and love the pouches for want of a better name ,they’ve had yoghurts like this so used to them and seem to like them a lot .,easy for little hands and not messy ,great for taking on trips or in their lunchbox .
great that they contains no nasty ingredients ,I would definitely buy these for them .,not all the time as sugar levels are quite high ,they wouldn’t be an everyday treat .
I personally still prefer a real apple but these snacks are popular .
However all these were healthier snacks and would encourage them to try again ,to get used to the textures .
I received my apple products for the kids and I was excited to hopefully get something healthy that they would eat. My 3 year old looked at the apple chips and the fruit noodles held them up to his nose and that was that, so I have no idea whether he likes them or not, he is extremely fussy and very hard to get to try new foods. My 6 year old tried all 3 products and unfortunately spat them all out, he did not like them at all, he said the flavour was too strong for him, couldn’t get anymore detail out of him. I tried them all. The tropical fruit hitz pouch was very strong and artificial tasting in flavour, this I found was not at all nice. The apple chips I liked the taste of these, they had a nice crisp bite and a slight sweet tang to them. The bag was very difficult to open and felt that if you wanted to give these to kids for a snack or in their lunch box then this bag size was too big as there is a lot in there. The fruit noodles were also very nice and I liked these the best with the boysenberry and apple flavour. I started on the pack and I couldn’t put them down until the pack was finished. Again for kids snacks or lunch boxes a smaller bag would be better. Both products are good sizes for snacks to share but not individually these are too big even for an adult. The fruit noodles packaging was also rather big in sizing there was just too much packaging for the amount that was in there but it was nice and easy to open.
