From a very young age, babies are learning, observing and experiencing the world around them. Encourage this by giving your baby plenty of tummy time. It’s a fantastic way to help baby develop muscles and observation skills!
What you need:
- towel
- baby mirror
- rattle or toy
Activity:
Place your baby on his tummy, toll up a towel, and pop it under your baby’s chest.
Place a toy or mirror in front of him so he can look at himself and reach out while lying on his tummy.
Place your baby on his back and put a noisy toy at his feet. When he kicks his feet he is working tummy muscles and having fun listening to the noise from the toy.
