Birthday cake bunting

Decorating a birthday cake can also be a fun craft activity.  Here are four gorgeous printables you can download for free to make a colourful birthday cake bunting for you child's next birthday cake.  Get the kids to help if they're confident with scissors.

What you need:

• scissors
• string
• 2 x skewers
• bunting printable

Pick a bunting template from below

• Bunting printable 1 (coloured rectangular)
• Bunting printable 2 (coloured diamond-shaped)
• Bunting printable 3 (blue rectangular)
• Bunting printable 4 (blue diamond-shaped)

Print out one of the bunting printables and cut it out.  Use a pair of crimping scissors for the bottom edge of the rectangular bunting, if you like.

Fold the top of each bunting over and glue it to your piece of string.

Suspend the string between two skewers and arrange the bunting on top of the birthday cake.
