Clay play activity

Clay is a great activity for kids imaginations. Kids love forming their own shapes or joining clay together to form 3D objects, animals or even their favourite modes of transport. Encourage the imagination of your little one with clay play.

What you need:

• clay (from craft supply shops)
• cookie cutters
• water
• colouring
• paint (optional)

Give children a small lump of clay.

Let them form whatever animal or object they wish with their clay by moulding it into shape.

To help shape the animal or object, use cookie cutters.

Have a bowl of water available to act like glue when molding clay pieces together.

You can also add food colouring into the clay before it hardens to change the colour, or once it hardens, kids can paint their sculptures.
