Make a cereal box noteholder
Teach your kids about the importance of recycling and reusing by making this cereal box note holder. It's easy as – and when you've finished you'll have a perfect place to stash all those school notes and reminders.
What you need:
- 1 x medium sized cereal box
- 2 x bulldog magnet clips (available in the stationery aisle of supermarkets)
- 1 x sheet of fancy wrapping paper
- sticky tape
- scissors
- ruler
- pencil

First make sure your cereal box will fit a standard A4 piece of paper.
Trim the top flaps off the box.
Now measure up about 22cm from the bottom edge. Mark the front edge of each side panel and along the front panel at this 22cm mark.
Using a ruler, mark a diagonal line from the top corner (the back of your box) of each side panel, to the lower 22cm mark at the front.
Mark across the front at the 22cm mark.
Cut along this line.
Now wrap your box like a gift – except you will fold the paper inside the box (instead of wrapping it fully)
Use your magnetic bulldog clips to attach it to the fridge.
Store all your notes and reminders in there!
