What you need:
- shallow pool; waist deep for mum or dad is fine
- supervising adult
- foam or rubber mat
Number of players:
2+
Activity:
Sit your child on the mat facing you. Hold hands if the child is not confident to begin.
Push the mat along in the water and sing:
Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream,
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream.
Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream,
If you see a crocodile, don't forget to scream.
Make a little screaming noise to help your child have more interaction.
Notes:
- This is sung to the tune of Row, row, row your boat.
