Thief game

Kids love to play the Thief game as it involves suspense, trickery and good old-fashioned excitement!

What you need:

• Lollies
• Blindfold
• Newspaper or magazine
• Coins
• Small toys

Number of players:
4+

Activity:

Place a blindfold on a player sitting on the floor.

Heap a pile of lollies and coins or toys in front of the player.

Roll up a newspaper or magazine and give it to the player for them to use to guard their treasure pile.

Circle the other players around the seated player.

Each player must try to quietly steal from the treasure pile without getting tagged by the blindfolded player.

When the blindfolded player suspects someone is trying to take their stash, they call out,”Thief, thief!” and has to tag the player trying to steal from them.

The blindfolded player must remain seated.

If a player gets tagged, they must return the treasure to the pile. If they are not tagged, they can keep what they get.

The winner is the person who has the most treasure! If no one gets any treasure before they are tagged, the blindfolded player is the winner.
