Water pistol paint fun

Combining two of the coolest kids' activities will win you parent of the year in your kids' eyes. Get the kids outdoors and when you fill the water pistols, watch their imaginations go wild!

What you need:

• a few cheap water pistols
• washable paint
• water
• cups – as many as you have colours
• a small funnel
• large paper

Step 1. Gather your supplies.

Step 2. Tape the paper up outside. If you have a large wall, use that area. The paper can be used plain or you could draw targets on it for some added fun. This is great for older kids to aim for.

Step 3. Stand the older kids back a little further and FIRE!

Step 4. Younger kids will enjoy getting a little closer and seeing the different patterns the pistol makes.

Step 5. Get creative everywhere and have fun!
