Bargain Box Choice delivers family favourite recipes at bargain prices, with everything you need delivered to your door by New Zealand’s cheapest meal-kit – and now with added choice for those fussier family members.
What type of food can I typically expect in a Bargain Box Choice delivery?
Every week you can choose from eight recipes packed with goodness that will make you go WHOA! The amazing Bargain Box chefs and taste testers create meals the whole fam will love. They’re packed with plenty of veggies (perfect for growing bodies!), have easy-to-follow instructions, and are super tasty, too!
There will be a selection of proteins to choose from each week i.e. some chicken dinners, some beef etc. as well as two vegetarian meals.
Bargain Box chicken and eggs are free-range, they use sustainably caught fish, and source as many veggies and other ingredients as possible from local suppliers.
Bargain Box Choice options
Bargain Box Choice is available for three, four, or five nights per week and comes in three sizes:
Serves 2: Great for a couple, or 2 adults with a young child
Serves 4: Feeds 4 adults/teens, or 2 adults and 3 kids
Serves 6: Feeds 6 adults/teens, or great for big families

Would love to trial bargain box as a way to find new dinners my 3 boys will love 3 fussy boys equals not fun mealtimes would love the 6 person box please
I would love to be a Bargain Box reviewer! We lead a VERY busy life running between dance and aerobics classes, dance and aerobics competitions, kart racing, speedway racing, rugby, netball and of course work and school. I have a fussy family who I’m trying hard to convince them to try new things, as I’m sick of cooking the same old processed, packaged foods that any good for us. I’d love new recipes to try that I’m actually making myself! Yes I can do that myself already, but companies like Bargain Box take that hard thinking away for you and make it exciting to cook again as it’s so easy having everything you need at your fingertips. I also would love to do this with my 10 year old daughter who is keen to learn to cook. There’s not much reaching required when you’re throwing food from a box or a packet in the oven. I need the inspiration from Bargain Box to get me motivated again.

I would love to try bargain box as a busy mum of two soon to be 3 babies on Saturday.I don’t get much time to organize meals so we just tend to eat the same thing every week without fail as I’m too busy with the kids to try something new. Would love the serves 2 meals pretty please.
We would love to try a 4-person box please.
We have a new born; and a toddler who loves helping in the kitchen! Not to mention a 11-year old that needs to be helping in the kitchen more so this would be a great opportunity for that!
I would love to try this for my family! We have little fussy eaters so sometimes it’s so difficult to make food. With the help of these new recipes it would make my job much easier, especially as we recently had a baba join our family. It would be great to trial the 4 or 6 people box.

Such a cool idea to add choice to bargain box! We’ve never tried bargain box before but have tried an opposition meal box which was super handy for crazy dinner prep, but too expensive! Right now with a 3 month old and 3 year old, prepping dinner is hard work! We’d love to try the 4 person box for 4 nights, hoping that any leftover food would feed hubby at work the next day as he has to eat on the run too. We try to eat healthy but some nights are too chaotic setting a baby and preparing a nice dinner. This could be a regular for us if the whole family enjoys the meal options and price point!
With a husband who works 6 day weeks and has 12 hour long days that leaves the kids to me aswell as all our other daily chores so this would be a godsend! I have two growing little ones who are always hungry. You can Imagine the 20 snacks they ask for when home from school and with only two hands sometimes It’s easier to grab take out then to have a cooked meal so having the option to already have the meal prep done and just cook It would help out alot! There aren’t enough hours In the day sometimes so I would love to trial a Bargain Box and would appreciate It too. I hear such good things about the meals and being able to choose which meals you’d like Is even better! This would be awesome!
We would be totally down to try out Bargain Box, the 2 person for 5 nights one.. been interesting it trying them out for ages, but haven’t been sure on if we would like the meals, this is the perfect opportunity for us.. and I’m sure my daughter would love to help make these meals as well… It would be nice not having to work out and decide what’s for dinner every night. I’d love to try the 6-person box for 5 nights. We always eat homemade dinners, but I’d love to trial this to see if it’s an option to make the dinner time rush a bit easier, to get fresh and nutritious ideas, and to get the kids involved too! I’m sure they’d love to choose and then make their dinner. I’ve looked at meal boxes, but always hesitated, so I’d love to trial this.

Between our 3 kids we have sports 2 nights a week. One of my kids is weaning from being tube fed, one has recently decided they are super fussy and one will eat copious amounts of everything in sight!
I have been wanting to try a meals box but don’t have a lot of disposable income to waste if no one will eat it! I like that these are promoted as fussy friendly as well as the free range protein and sustainable fishing practices.
Yes please ! I would love to trial this as I have been a little apprehensive. I’m a mum of 3 girls and a partner that eats a lot! So I always wondered whether meals for 4 people would be enough and if not, then would 6 people be too much and create waste. I’m also short on time with having a 4 month old, 2 year old and 4 year old so I feel like I never have enough time in the day to do jobs let alone make dinner too! This would so great to trial and I really hope you would consider me and my family.

I would like to be considered for this trial for a family of 6. The older kids are getting to a point of wanting to learn to cook and this might be a great way to start and with a busy household it would be great to have meals ready to cook to help with the stress that comes from running a big family.

We would love to try the 4 person Bargain Box. Hubby and I are always trying to find quick yummy dinner options which the kids will enjoy too. Master 6 1/2 and Miss almost 5 are very interested at helping at dinner time and this would be a great way to encourage that (especially when there are instructions and ingredients ready to follow).
Would love to be considered for the 2 people for 5 nights. We are busy working parents so would love to come home to pre-thought out meals that are quick an easy amongst the chaos during the weeknights. With such a busy schedule and a big family 2x adults, 2x teens a pre teen and a hungry growing toddler would love to see if this can make dinners night more manageable it looks great and would be keen to gets the teens in on the cooking
We would love to give bargin box choice a try. My kids love cooking but as a chef, all my recipes are in my head. We tried hello fresh and the kids LOVED being able to cook dinners on their own for a change. However we didnt love the menu options and that it wasnt actually that fresh (or the price! Eek!). Seeing a recipe and following it themselves was an eye opener for my kids. The 8 and 4 year old took turns choosing their nights and following the recipes and were super proud to share what they had created with the family at dinner time. Would be awesome to pass on the love of food and create independence as well.

Trialling the bargain box would be absolutely perfect. I am 20 weeks pregnant, working and about to move house so i have no time for dinners at the moment, affordable….Even better! We would loooove to try the 4 person box please 😊

Oh my gosh this would be amazing. Life changing even. If I could get my 4 kids aged between 14 and 8 all cooking more PLUS my husband this would be a game changer. I would love to be a reviewer. This would be fantastic for us to trial (the four person box) as the kids have just got to an age where they are getting a bit fussy with what I cook. This would give me some great ideas on new things and make my life easier. Also give me a chance to teach them how to follow a recipe and cook hehe
