These wipes were very handy and I liked the clean, fresh lemon scent. They were perfect for giving the kitchen a spring clean – very easy to use on the bench and cupboards and they bring the stainless steel sink and tap up nice and shiny. Added bonus that they’re keeping things hygienic too.
We received a great pack of Dettol Multipurpose Wipes in lemon fragrance. These have been so handy that I’ve already added them as a favourite to my online shopping list. The first thing they were used on was the cleanup of a leak under the kitchen sink – it had soaked through some dishwasher tablets and the cupboard was not the cleanest to start with but now it’s sparkling clean. These wipes even cut through the oil residue left over on the shelf from my cooking oil bottles. Next cleaning job was the family bathroom during a bout of vomiting from one child. It was good to know that not only were the surfaces clean but they were germ-free too to help stop the bugs spreading through the family! There are some cleaning jobs that I just hate and number one is when the cat brings up a furball. I ain’t touching that and these wipes made it simple to clean up with minimal fuss. Love them!!
Nice little package in the post. The cat managed to perform on cue and these wipes proved very efficient in cleaning up the mess. After that very successful first encounter I am sure these will prove a worthwhile addition to under the kitchen sink. Easy to store and quite versatile. I look forward to using them in other ways. Will update again shorlty.
The Dettol multipurpose wipes are Brilliant, lightly scented lemon & lime that’s no over powering but leaves surfaces clean, smelling fresh including hands. We have used them in the car with the family for cleaning hands and the interior as we all know with family can get get a bit messy at times. Dettol wipes have been great for spot cleaning the bathrooms sinks and benches and toilets, best part you clean and throw away the germs. Highly recommend around the home use and have a few packs handy say in each bathroom, toilet and kitchen.
Amazing product! Used these a lot over the weekend as we did a spring clean of the house and Dettol never fails to deliver. Was able to get some stingy food stains off the stovetop and the splash back with ease and found them really great for cleaning up the island after throwing flour and dough all over it while baking. Loving the fresh scent and how durable these wipes are. They stay wet for a long time so you’re able to clean a larger surface with just one wipe. The package size is great too! These are the best thing out. Plenty in the pack to last a few weeks or more, but not taking up too much space. Have found it so much easier to clean kitchen benches, spills and even used them for quick and easy cleaning of the toilet. It is great that it has the textured side, as this helps to lift spills that have stuck to the bench or floor. Great to have around with kids and cats making messes. Thanks Dettol, will definitely keep using this product.

They are super handy!! Great to wipe all surfaces in the bathroom and kitchen including light switches and door handles. You want a quick easy solution to gave a clean environment for your family and Detoll is a trusted brand so loud of pluses.
My one query is are they plastic free? I recently bought an alternate wet wipe as it promised to break down in three months and in this zero waste, environmental wave was interested to see if they would just end up in landfill. Thanks so much!
The first thing I noticed of the Dettol Multipurpose cleaning wipes was the fresh lemon scent. It made my bathroom and kitchen smell fresh and clean.
I used the wipes for a quick wipe over in the bathroom and kitchen before I had guests coming over, what a great product for this/ a quick clean. The wipes picked up all crumbs, dust, toothpaste residue, spilt food etc.
I do feel the wipes were a bit small in size and I would recommend a bigger size wipe.
I’m going to try the wipes next inside my car. With two children, their car seats, the door handles, sides of doors etc are really in need of a Dettol wipe.
Wow, these were fabulous, how we ever survived without them I don’t know! We are a family of 5 with 3 school age children, 2 are boys so these were amazing for the constant toileting misses that boys do. Not to mention quick housework clean up wipe downs for when you get unexpected visitors!!! and the extra reassurance of knowing you are using a timeless brand like Dettol and its amazing anti bacterial germ killing goodness is always a good feeling as a mum. These will be a constant in our household from now on and I can see they will be invaluable when we go on our annual family camping trip over summer. 🙂
These are fantastic. I’ve been a fan of Dettol products for a long time – with a active family there’s no shortage of dirt, grime and germs! I used these mostly in the Kitchen, – because of the textured surface – the toughest items to regularly keep clean are the likes of microwave, fridge doors, pantry doors, and the dishwasher…
All constantly covered in food grime and germs! The wipe was amazing with cleaning the stove top – and there was a fair amount of cooking grease from Sunday breakfast and some bolognase splashes….
A quick wipe with one cloth and the grease and sauces were easily lifted and the stove was sparkly clean.
Wiping down benches, doors etc. also became and easy daily activity as I’d use one wipe to quickly wipe down surfaces with a wipe, before we left the house for the day. Finger marks weren’t hanging about for days because it was a 30 second task each morning with the wipe. On the weekly house clean it was great to give the kids sink a good wipe down – which was coated in half a tube of toothpaste. One wipe easily cleared all the caked toothpaste and residue! Also made for an easy wipe down of toilet seat dribbles courtesy of the little ones.
The product itself had a really pleasant lemon smell. You were always aware that the areas wiped down were clean and more hygienic. I also found (which was a BIG plus for me) that these wipes weren’t drying on my hands as I used them (as some are), so definitely a milder formula for skin compared to others I’ve tried. It does have a warning about wiping down with a damp cloth afterwards if surface is in contact with food, or young children – so I specifically wiped with a damp cloth any of their play area furniture etc. I don’t chop on the kitchen counter using chopping boards so that wasn’t an issue for our household. All in all a great product to have under the sink to quickly take care of the mess and grime that occurs through daily living. Thanks Kidspot & Dettol for the trial opportunity!
I have been trialing these wipes for over two weeks now. I have used them to clean the high chair, kitchen bench, bathroom sink etc and find them to handy and easy to use. My kitchen bench has never been so clean. After a phone call from the mother in law saying she is coming to stay I put these wipes to the test, I used them to wipe out the microwave (that was a mission), fridge, dust the tv cabinet. you name it I cleaned it with these wipes. They came in super handy removing chocolate finger prints off walls and dirty finger marks from around light switches. My new best friend for keeping my house mother in law ready.

As for having a pet, cat to be exact, the wipes are so handy to use as a quick clean and disinfectant after her morning wet food, whether it be a broth, kisses-(yes that’s a type of food)-or a can of fishy food with lots of broth or gravy, one wipe and BAM it’s all gone, purrfect!

I know this KIWI FAMILY will be using them daily, for those everyday spills in-between the big weekly cleanup, with this as my go to, the big weekly clean won’t seem so tedious, especially as all those little things that build up will be a thing of the past, all I need now is one of those self-vacuuming units and I’m all sorted!
I certainly have enjoyed using my Dettol Mulipurpose wipes. The packaging is convenient and easy to use, the peel back sticker keeps them fresh and moist which is great and 45 wipes is a good number.
I found them tougher and more durable than what I have previously used and you can wipe down a lot with one wipe. The textured surface means it gives a more thorough clean.
I used them to clean the outside of my fridge and stove and microwave, mop up messes left by kids and wet pet paw prints, to clean the outside table ready for summer, the keyboard and doors, skirting boards and window sills.
The fresh lemon lime scent was pleasant and smelt clean and fresh.
The one thing that I was weary of was wiping bench surfaces as per the instructions advice is to wipe thoroughly with water afterwards if they are food surface or touched by children and that seems like doing things twice to me.
I really love the idea of wipes as opposed to using cloths to clean. I like they can be thrown away and I don’t have germy cloths sitting around, especially for bathroom and toilet areas and areas where there was plenty of dirt and grime.
I will be using them again definitely and due to the durability and because I like the scent and that they kill 99.9% of germs they will replace the wipes I currently use.
I am absolutely in love with this product – I think this will be a regular addition to my shopping list. I use this regularly now to wipe down my benchtop – its amazing the amount of dirt that comes off it even though it looks clean. Thank you Kidspot for allowing me to trial this product! The wipes are a good size, thickness and the smell is fresh and clean for me to wipe the toilet seat before my 4 year old do his thing. No more struggles to convince him to use the toilet when we’re not at home. We do not leave home without it. Just wish it was more environmentally friendly
We trialed the Lemon Lime Burst. I love the smell and the scent stays for quite a while. It leaves the kitchen, bathroom etc smelling clean and fresh. There are 45 wipes in the pack which is a good amount. It has a re-sealable opening that seals well so the wipes don’t dry out and the pack itself is easy to store. They are a good size and thickness, they don’t rip apart while you are using them. They are slightly textured to make removing dirt etc easier. I have used these in the kitchen, bathroom, toilet, on the floor and cleaning the mats under the cat bowl. I found them easy to use and pretty much did what they said they would. I did find that some dirt was harder to remove than others, but in general the wipes did a great job. I will be purchasing these in the future.
Thanks for giving me the chance to try the Dettol Multipurpose wipes Lemon Lime Burst they smelled very nice and the smell last for so time after you used the wipe .The wipes are a good size not to small just right and nice and thick so it did not brake up when you used it.. They are easy to take out of the pack and it sealed back easy so that they would not dry up . I like that they kill 99.9% of germs so you no that what you are cleaning with the wipe will be germ free Its great that you can use them to clean so many different things I found them great for cleaning the bench tops and the rubbish bin lid .All so great for my sons high chair.
Pleasant smell. Big cloth is great for holding and using the wipe. Much better than the smaller ones, and can get more cleaning done with a single wipe.
Unfortunately this seems to suffer for the same issue as all other wipes i this type of packaging where wipes get stuck together when pulling one out, often resulting in pulling out two or three at a time. This can be annoying as then i need to separate and put the wipe back in if i don’t intend to use it.
I received my Dettol Multipurpose Cleaning Wipes at the perfect time with two teens in the house sneezing their heads off with sinus infections. We used the wipes in door handles, kitchen benches, and everything that may have been sneezed on. They had a lovely lemon scent and are very handy all through the house. The wipes don’t disintegrate when you are using them like some do.I have added them to my shopping list.
Straight off the bat the pack is fresh and vibrant. The info on it is just right. I really like the scent (lemon lime burst) of the wipes and how they’re textured — perfect. I used mine for wiping the kitchen bench, toilets and bathroom vanity. Nice and handy wee pack. I would recommend these to anyone that wants a quick way to clean surfaces thoroughly leaving a lovely fragrance behind them <3
I received these Dettol multipurpose wipes last week and they are great. The small lemon lime burst is just right and they are so easy to use in the bathroom for the bath, sinks, toilet then the laundry, surfaces in the car just about anything but your hands. I love the fact that you throw them away each wipe after use instead of a cloth which you wash and reuse I will definitely be buying these for ease of use thanks for letting us try them.
I received my Dettol Cleaning Wipes last week and have given them a good trial around the home. Firstly I used them around the bedroom and on the bedroom furniture and love the smell it left afterwards however when used on some surfaces it did leave streaks that I then had to re-wipe with a dusting cloth. I then turned to the bathroom where these removed all the grime I wanted and left a shiny and pleasant smell. I did not use in the kitchen and was happy with the result in there too. I had received the Dettol wipes last week. The fragrance is subtle and not overpowering. I use it in my kitchen to wipe down the benches, sink and stove top, range hood and fridge. It’s quick and easy to use. I love the convenience of using wipes, rather than a spray bottle and paper towels. It works well on easy clean up jobs, and if using on stubborn grease and marks, you would need to put a bit of effort to clean it properly.
I absolutely love these Dettol wipes, very handy for every day use around the house and the lemon fragrance leaves a nice fresh smell

Thanks for the opportunity to review the Dettol Multipurpose wipes. We received the Lemon Lime burst to trial. I really love the clean lemon smell it leaves behind. I think these wipes are so handy to have in the kitchen and the bathroom. They are great for wiping down surfaces and you know the bacteria is being cleaned too. The best thing about them are the quick way you can make the bathroom look like its had a proper clean if unexpected visitors arrive round! One wipe for the sink and one for the toilet and the bathroom looks clean and fresh! So great I would definitely recommend them.
I love this wipe! It’s very ideal for wiping my baby’s highchair surface! Everyone knows babies and toddlers easily make a mess on their highchairs. When I use the Dettol wipes to clean it, I don’t need to worry if it’s ok to put food on the highchair table for my baby to grasp and put in his mouth as I know the wipe can kill germs!
I really like the easy open compact design and the lemon fragrance is really nice and not too strong. I found the wipes are perfect for disinfecting often touched areas particularly when there is someone sick in the house like door handles, phones, light switches etc. They are also good for keyboards and other electronic equipment as you don’t need to worry about liquid from spray bottles causing any problems. I also find them convenient for the toilet area to keep disinfected and then of course can throw away. Overall, very easy to use and will continue using them. Thanks for the trial!
I received the package of Dettol Lemon Lime Burst wipes about a week ago and so far so good! I have a one year old who thinks its hilarious to throw food at meal times, so these are great to have on hand to clean up messes. The packaging is user friendly, with a resealable opening on the front.
I received the lemon lime burst wipes. I like the packaging, great shape to fit in with my limited space for storage. Can be stored flat or on it side. This was a big plus for me. Next test was the smell and i found it very pleasant. A nice lemon scent that wasn’t too over powering and reminded me of a warm spring day.
The first thing I cleaned was my door handles in the house. Then my keyboards and phones. I like the fact it is so easy to do and you don’t need to carry around a bucket or a spray bottle. It made that task seem easy and quick and its was great to know all those surfaces were clean.
Next i went into the kitchen. It took a bit of effort to wipe away the grime but it did it eventually. I think if i was going to use it i feel like the tough spots would need to be sprayed with something to soften first or wiped with hot water, which would defeat the purpose of it. Well that’s if the purpose was a quick and c simple way to clean. With kids this happens a bit with left over drops of jam etc. I think if you bench was dirty but no build up it would be a good quick way.
The concern I did have was that the instructions say if used in a cooking surface or a place where children touch you need to thoroughly wipe the area down with water after. So for me that is a real turn off, you would have to wipe the area down twice. I guess it come down to what is good for you in a cleaning product.
I think I would use this to clean non eating areas but would not use to wipe down my bench unless i had time to wash it well after. On the whole a good product and I’ll definitely keep using it but myself for bathroom, door handles, keyboard etc
I received the packaged Dettol cleaning wipes yesterday. Now unwrapped and ready to use. The 45s sized pack is a good size and easily stored. My first try was the kitchen bench and stove top. The wipe easily came out of the pack and the lemon aroma was pleasant but not overwhelming. I did feel that I could have kept wiping the kitchen down. Next I will try some other surfaces and the bathroom and report back. So far so good, happy with the wipe option.
