My 8 yr old daughter Addy loved this cereal. She liked all the flavours that were there. She preferred eating it dry rather than adding milk. Would definitely buy it again if it’s on sale. She reckons it’s way better than coco pops. She would eat it every day if she could.

My boys love poppy and bubbly cereal so they were keen as mustard to give these a go. The colourful cereal was of course a hit. They loved them, and I loved that they’re lower in sugar than other cereal, gluten free (for our sometimes hit n miss tummies) and have probiotics. They weren’t too sweet but tasty enough for the bowl to be emptied, and they were also used to create a puffy slice! Thanks for the trial!

We were excited to try these as my girl loves rice bubbles, I thought she might like them. She loved the colours and kept telling me about the green and pink ones. First few mouthfuls she enjoyed it and then she decided she didn’t like it unfortunately 😔

Unfortunately my 8 year old wasn’t a fan of these. She didn’t like the flavour which is a shame because they are healthy. They looked appealing with the different colours, but unfortunately the taste let them down

My girls absolutely love the colorful packaging and taste of the Cereal. They found it a bit difference compared to the other ones they have had but quickly adjusted and loved the less sugar cereal and it’s becoming a top priority to consume less sugar. This is a great alternative to sugary cereal and will surely be buying more of this.

Mr 3 loved this cereal. He liked the different colours, yummy taste and monster mask on the packet. I really liked the 40% less sugar. I would definitely buy this cereal.

My boy absolutely loved these and we use them as a sometimes breakfast because to be honest, no cereal seems to have as little sugar and plain old weetbix and he eats that with no fuss so I prefer to keep the sugar to a minimum where I can. That doesn’t mean they’re not healthier than the alternatives! They are definitely and to love the fact that they are probiotic and prebiotic… Good for the gut. So glad we got to try them because they will definitely be my alternative, especially if there are fussy kids!

Very happy to receive this sample. I was more happy to show my children. I really hoped they would take to them. Unfortunately even with the bright colours, my daughter who was the only one tempted to try them grabbed a few out of the box and ate them and said they weren’t very nice, I too put some in a cup with milk had a taste, they aren’t very sweet (which is a good thing) and after a little while all the colours drip off the cereal leaving them pale and the milk all coloured. Only the cocoa pop coloured cereal has a lot of flavour. I think for younger ones who may not have tasted all the sweetness in this world and there palates haven’t been introduced to sugarsssss, it will be perfect for them. Unfortunately I think I have left it to late.

Both my kids have loved these they have made a quick easy breakfast and I know my kids aren’t getting a breakfast filled with sugar before starting there day! Thanks for letting us trail these

My son liked the idea off colourful cereal and was eager to give it a try but unfortunately didnt like them ( he is very hard to please at breakfast time anyway) we decided to bake with them and that was more of a hit . Thanks for choosing us to try them

My 2 year old absolutely loved these! He ate them with his hands and always asks for them whenever I open the cupboard. He is a huge fan!! It’s a yes from us.

It was with great excitement when our ‘Fun Puffs’ arrived. The kids wanted to get into them straight away. I managed to restrain them and save them for breakfast the next day. The children instantly loved the 3 colours. It was great to read the colours are naturally derived also. Win win. They all thought that the Fun Puffs tasted really good and the only drawback was that they wanted seconds and sometimes thirds! The box wouldn’t last long at all if they have a few helpings. So they possibly aren’t as filling as some other cereals. Things that I LOVE as a mother are that they have 40% less sugar than some cereals which is a huge plus for me as my kids are total sugar fiends, so any way to get them eating less sugary food is also a win. Taste does not seem to be compromised. I also think it is such a great added bonus to have the probiotics and prebiotics which are so helpful in increasing immunity and general health. If I’m happy with what they are eating and they are happy with what they are eating then you can’t get much better than that!

    13. alisha 20/03/2020 at 5:01 pm

I like that the cereal is made in New Zealand and that they are made without using artificial colours or flavours.
My children both liked the look of the cereal as they don’t usually have coloured cereals, my 4 year old loved the monster mask cut out on the back of the box.
They both tried the cereal and seemed to like it however they have decided they like toast better at the moment due to the drop in temperature in the mornings so I compromised and turned the cereal into a rice bubble slice which they both love, it makes a great lunch box treat or afternoon snack!

My kids were really excited when we received these Healtheries Fun Puffs, because mummy doesn’t buy things like coco pops, as they are high in sugar. These also looked cooler as there were 3 different colours. I like the fact that they have 40% less sugar and had prebiotic and probiotics.
My kids were a bit mixed in their reactions to actually trying it. Miss 6 likes it and says that it is better than other sugary cereals she has had, she said the flavours were yummy and she likes that they made her milk go flavoured.
Miss 3 wants it some mornings but not others, but I think that’s more Coz she’s a 3 year old hahah, but overall she eats it, so we would definitely purchase this again.

The kids were very excited to receive this product in the mail, and it was their number 1 request for breakfast for the week.

They loved the chocolatey taste (it all seemed to mix in with the milk as coco pops would). They usually eat rice bubbles so it was a novelty to have some colour in their bowls.

The kids definitely saw this as a treat, and after seeing it at the supermarket retailed for over $6 I would have to agree, it is a treat. Wouldn’t buy it on a regular basis because of the price, but it is a good product and would recommend it to friends.

This cereal was a hit in our house with our very fussy eaters. Was sweet enough so no sugar needed to be added. Loved the fact it has prebiotics. Great for lunchboxes.

    17. Stepanka 18/03/2020 at 7:42 pm

Our 6 year old absolutely loves these. The cereal comes in fun looking packaging, looks different from others but still very tempting to eat. Her favourite colours are included. The cereal itself is tasty, easy to deal with when eating. All in all, it was a big success and we would buy again. Thank you.

    18. Lina Coello 18/03/2020 at 2:12 pm

My kids loved trying out a new cereal, but we were quite disappointed. My 5-year-old daughter said immediately, “this tastes sweet,” and then “it’s a bit strange “. Even though the cereal boasts added health benefits, I wonder how effective they would be, considering the sugar content of the puffs. I personally think that the retail price of close to $9 is way too steep and having tried it, I wouldn’t consider buying it. The puffs had no real flavour and the colours would weep into the milk, making a weird-looking soupy concoction after a minute or two. Thanks for letting us try something new, Kidspot, but unfortunately this product isn’t something we’ll be introducing into our diets.

My little girl loved these. They taste great and are fun colours for kids to enjoy. My little girl loved using her pincer grip to pick them up and feed herself. A bonus that they are low in sugar. Thanks for choosing us to be part of the trial 🙂

I liked the health content of this cereal and was hoping Mr 5 might take to it (as he is not a big cereal fan). Mr 8 loved it. He especially like that the milk turned a chocolaty colour (he is not normally allowed cereal that does this). He consumed big bowls. Mr 5 did eat it, and like it, but is still not a cereal fan as a first choice. However, as Mr 8 still has other cereal preferences (he loves weetbix) I would only buy this occasionally to add a bit of variety, or to bake (as I think it would make a good slice for school).

My 6yo had it a few times dry in his lunchbox, but after a few times he decided he didn’t like it. My 10yo hates chocolate, so she tried just a few of the other bits, but said it was too sweet. Looks like I’m finishing off the pack 🙁 I don’t mind it, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

    22. daniellacarey85 17/03/2020 at 9:26 pm

My kids are both coeliac so finding a new cereal they can both eat is very exciting! They love gluten free cocoa pops but they are so sugary I only buy them very occasionally. I was glad to see this cereal looked fun and tasty but contained WAY less sugar than the coco pops! My kids both really enjoyed it – my 6 year old girl called it the ‘rainbow’ cereal. The kids also enjoyed mixing it with their normal cornflakes to make their own new combination. I would def but this again instead of another treat type cereal as they enjoy it just as much but get so much less sugar!

We were all very excited in our house when the box of Healtheries Fun Puffs Cereal arrived. My son (4) said he really enjoyed the taste and loved the fun colours. He even asked for it every day after that until we ran out. The packaging is bright and easy to spot on the supermarket shelf. I was very interested in this product as it was gluten free and has 40% less sugar than other kids cereals, as well as having friendly bacteria. The only constructive feedback I have is that I would like to see natural alternatives to refined sugar – possibly coconut sugar, honey or rice malt syrup? Thank you for choosing my family to review this product.

    24. Miaandme 17/03/2020 at 8:39 pm

My little poppet really enjoyed the healtheries fun puffs cereal. She was so excited right from the first time she saw the box – she’s a big fan of the monster. The colours were really appealing unlike other similar cereals. The flavour is a nice balance between chocolaty and not too sweet. We actively avoid sugar too so these were great for fitting into our lifestyle. I’m a huge believer in the benefits of probiotics so it was great that these were included. Most importantly she enjoyed them for breakfast with milk or yoghurt as well as an easy snack dry. They kept her happy in the pram while I got the shopping done as she loved eating them one by one. All up I would definitely buy them again and recommend them to my friends.

    25. Emilykendra 17/03/2020 at 8:19 pm

We were so excited to receive this product, but in afraid my 11 year old may have been a bit too old for the colours to take over the flavour!
She liked the colours and said the bowl full of cereal was very pretty.
However unfortunately the flavour fell short for her, she said it was not sweet enough. Such a bummer as I was really hoping she would be into it so we could swap out our existing stuff!
Thank you so much for the opportunity to try, and I’m sure it would be an excellent option for younger kids

Both my 2 and 10 year old loved it. Took some quick photos when we first got it and was supposed to go back and take some better quality ones but my 10 year old had finished it off! Usually we just have plain cereals so he was pretty excited when this showed up at our door. Low in sugar and tastes good, win win. Haven’t found it at our local supermarket but will be on the lookout

My little ones LOVE these, my son who is nearly 2 eats these by the handful, he’s stolen the box out of the cupboard a couple of times and eaten them straight out of the box, its a big YES from us.
