We were given a very generous 75ml tube of the Weleda Calendula Nappy Change Cream to trial. First off I love that this product is free from chemical nasties and the company has a commitment to sustainability.
The cream is super smooth, isn’t sticky, and it guides on and absorbs really easily – so a little goes a long way. Sometimes the cream and oil can separate so the first squeeze can be a bit oily, but after that it is a thick creamy texture.
It has a subtle floral scent, which is lovely. And best of all it quickly healed any redness and acted as a moisture barrier to keep it away too. Definitely my new favourite barrier cream. Will be getting another tube for the nappy bag.

For me its important I can use one hand to use a product like this as usually trying to wrestle a child and hold them in one place with the other hand, it was easy to undo and squeeze out with one hand which I loved!

Also found it to be an amazing moisturizer! My daughter was born missing her left hand so she just has like a stump (we call it her nubbin) and from crawling around it gets extremely dry a d rough weve tried so many products a d the doctor has prescribed products none have really helped until now when my daughter got the cream all over her arm so I rubbed it in AMAZING no more roughness or dryness ! I actually could’ve cried happy tears !

I’ve loved being able to trial this nappy cream on my 10 month old son. He’s teething (again!!) so has had a sore red rash recently, this cream has really soothed it. I love the fragrance (floral and slightly medicinal but in a pleasant way) and the texture of the cream is brilliant. It feels really luxurious and not like a sticky nappy cream. A little bit goes a long way and, unlike a lot of other thicker creams, it’s easy to spread and doesn’t make a mess.The packaging is very appealing and the tube is easy to use with the cream smooth to get out. I will definitely seek it out to buy once the trial tube is finished as I’ve found it a great product.
This cream is the best! I have been a steady sudocream user for ages, but the Weleda Nappy cream totally surpasses it! It works so well, my little one has had a red bum for the past two weeks and nothing has been able to shift it. Two days with the Weleda cream and it’s all cleared up. It smells great, easy to apply, not too greasy and yet provides a good barrier as well. I love the tube, it’s easy for application and great for throwing in the nappy bag when heading out.
I’m going to buy more. It’s just so good, and it’s full of natural goodies too. Love it
Perfect timing for this weleda nappy cream with my 10 month old and her sore bottom. Smooth and easy to apply and nice on the skin. Works fast and so well. Will definitely be getting some more when I run out.
I absolutely love this nappy Balm.. Easy to squeeze the tube, very nice smell and very effective. Like the package size and design, the tube would last for months and would fit any nappy bag. I really like the smell after applying the cream, and sure love the result after 1 day of use. I absolutely would buy it again and I will recommend it to friends. We have so many brands of nappy cream in our household and this one is by far the best! It glides on baby’s skin with ease and it smells beautiful as well! It also comes in a great sized tube. It worked wonders on my nearly 1 year olds skin! This is definitely a product I will be recommending to family and friends who have babies or are expecting babies.
The thing I love most about Weleda is that all their products smell amazing and the calendula nappy cream is no different. The consistency was nice and smooth without being greasy or leaving residue. It’s such a beautiful product that your skin just soaks up every last bit. In the last 6 days there has been no irritation or reaction of any kind and my son is asking for me to use it, I think he likes the smell too. You only need a small pea sized amount so whilst it sells for $20 a tube it would go a long way and is a nice natural product that works. I would recommend and purchase myself. I received the Weleda calendula nappy change cream three days ago. I love the way it absorb’s into the skin quickly without a sticky residue. Of all the creams I have tried this one is the best!
My 2.5 year old boy has had a rashy, sore bottom for awhile and this cream has helped hughly!
The packaging is great and easy to distinguish against others! And the scent is heavenly!! I love that it’s more natural too. A definite go to!!
Absolutely love this cream! After trying a lot of different creams to try and combat the rash from reflux medication this one has been the winner, very happy! Goes on nice and smooth and doesn’t leave an oily film on your hands like some of the others do, handy size tube unlike some of the other big tubs I’ve used. Surprisingly enough it smells amazing as well 🙂 will definitely be sticking with this one from now on.
Hi, we have been very excited to receive our weleda nappy cream in perfect packaging with absolutely no damage. We loved the refreshing yellow colour and the lightly fragrant smell. The cream had a few drops of oil dripping when first opened but it’s normal after. Very easy to press unlike some other brand where it has been so difficult to remove the cream. Weleda nappy cream does what it claims, helps in reducing inflammation and rash, gentle on my 10 month old baby’s skin. I will definitely buy and recommend to anyone. I have a 17 month old girl and I have tried several nappy change creams. I found this Weleda product was easy to apply and only needed a small amount. It appeared to last quite well on her skin – even after several nappy changes. The cream smelled really nice and my daughter loved playing with the tube itself. Loved the natural ingredients. Another great Weleda product! Would recommend.
We have used Weleda products before such as the teething powder and shower gel, but this was the first time using the nappy balm. We loved it, the scent is amazing and it spreads and absorbs easily. My daughter has sensitive skin that is easily irritated but this cream left her clear and rash free. Will definitely be purchasing more!
One of the nicest nappy creams I have tried. The smell is lovely and it has such a nice texture – kind of like a luxurious moisturiser, not thick and paste like as some other nappy creams are. It goes on easily and leaves a nice barrier without being ‘too much’. I like that it is all natural and the packaging is also mostly environmentally friendly, the lid is plastic but the tube isn’t. The packaging is pretty. I would definitely use this again, thank you for the opportunity to try it!
This arrived today and we used it straight away. Beautiful smelling cream, with a lovely smooth texture. It applies smoothly and rubs in all the way. Even after a few nappy changes I could see that the skin irritation that was on my sons nappy area was starting to clear up. I must also note that after reading the information pack that came with this product I am really pleased to see that it is ethically and sustainably sourced. I really enjoy finding an affordable product that support sustainability efforts! Definitely a plus when buying this product
I will be reviewing the Weleda Nappy Change Cream with Calendula, supplied to myself by Kidspot NZ for the sake of the review.
The cream comes in a 75ml tube and currently retails for $19.90.
At first glance the box is brightly coloured which easily draws your attention and the product information is clearly displayed on both the box and tube. The product information is well laid out and not cluttered, making it easy to read.
The cream is for all skin types including sensitive skin and made from natural products – perfect for you baby’s delicate skin.
Once opened, I found the cream to easily dispense from the tube. As for consistency, I found it to be creamy and easy to apply – when applying to baby’s skin I did not struggle to get it to stick to her skin, and found it wasn’t difficult or clumpy to apply like fellow competitors’ products.
The cream is ever so slightly fragranced and really pleasant smelling. I loved having the very gently fragrance of the calendula balm as I applied it to baby as opposed to no smell at all. Understandably, fragrance is commonly known to cause irritations and not suitable for delicate skin but I found that the natural fragrance of the Calendula cream was very delicate on my daughter’s sensitive skin.
Prior to applying the nappy cream, my baby daughter had a very inflamed, red rash that was causing pain and discomfort. I had previously applied a cream prescribed by the doctors but to no successful result. So I gave Weleda a try. After a mere 24 hours of applying the cream with every change, my daughter’s nappy rash had gone from inflamed and red, to no sign of even having had a nappy rash! There has been no sign of irritation on her overly sensitive skin so I truly commend Weleda for making a product that really is suitable for delicate skin. The cream has not only functioned as a barrier cream but also assisted in the healing of the rash that was already present.
I am thoroughly impressed by the protection this cream has given in such a delicate area and will definitely be using the Weleda Nappy Change Cream with Calendula going forward. Highly recommend to any mom who struggles with nappy rashes on their young, to give Weleda’s nappy cream a try.
Wow I have been so pleased by the use of this product. We have 2 in nappies miss 22 months and mr 3 months. It is important we have 1 product we can use for both children. Miss 22 months had an upset stomach the day the cream arrived and was very red and sensitive in the nappy area. We decided it was a great time to test this cream. Packaging was very attractive and bright so easy to spot, slightly oil on the top but upon squeezing out came the cream, it was creamy and thick.Overnight with one use this cleared my daughters redness and had her skin looking soft again. Will happily buy again once this tube runs out.
I am a self confessed cream hoarder! I have tried every thing. I have one of everything. I’m obsessed. And this is definitely one of the best both in how it works and affordability. My baby girl is 6 months old and has dermatitis. This cream arrived just in time for an epic rash and it was fully cleared up in 2 days. No agitation to her dermatitis and it smells nice. I like the thickness of the cream too. Have tried to use under her neck also as this seems to be a real bad spot for her dermatitis and also helps there aswell. Would compare it as being similar to medela or little dragon if you’ve used either of those. Would buy again for sure
Hi there everyone! I am on day 5 for using the Weleda calendula nappy change cream. First things i will have to point out, it smells beautiful and it has a really nice texture to it. I have used it on all 3 of my children and have noticed good results so far. My kids only suffer minor nappy rashes every now and than. Highly recommend this product along with another fave for my family, Weleda teething powder. My youngest can not go without it while he is teething.
We have loved using Weleda Nappy Cream over the past couple of days! I have found the tube super handy compared to the tub style of a lot of nappy creams and the scent is nice and natural compared to the likes of sudocrem which we have used in the past. This feels more natural and easier to apply but still has the effective zinc which we find essential for clearing bad nappy rash is in combination with natural skin moisturisers and barriers like lanolin. Two happy toddler bottoms in our household. I would happily repurchase this and recommend to all my fellow mum friends and family.
I really enjoyed using the Weleda Calendula nappy change cream. It was creamy in texture and soft to apply. It also felt rich while being quick and easy to apply and soak in, important as I do not have much time when doing nappy changes with my wiggly 16 month old son!
The Weleda calendula cream is wonderful. My baby recently had a bout of thrush which has cleared up but still had a bit of redness there. This cream has provided a great barrier while that has been clearing up. You only need a very small amount, and the coverage is very generous. Definitely recommend – smells lovely too!
The product is in a good size (75 ml) and the package looks very neat. When I opened the tube, the light fragrant smell was delightful. The cream was a little bit oily when I first squeezed the tube but then it was back to the normal thickness and felt good. My 19 month old looks enjoying it when I apply it gently on his nappy area. I can see the result of the protection is also very good! For sure I will recommend it to other people! : )

I love how sustainable this product is, made with renewable energy, made in a low waste process, made from natural products. Sustainability is a huge selling point for me at the moment and I am quite conscious about human impact on our precious planet!
The lovely fresh smell of the cream was a pleasure for the senses. I usually am not a fan of a lot of fragrances in care products, but was quite fond of it this time, maybe because it was due to the natural oils in the product and not fake chemical fragrances.
The oils in the cream started to melt when it came in contact with skin which was great as it meant it had a great application feel and spread very well.
My girl had a small amount of redness before we started trialling the Weleda Calendula cream, and after one change using this product she had perfectly clear skin again.
I definitely recommend this product to any new parents looking for the perfect nappy cream!

We have been trialing the Weleda nappy cream over the last few days and have been impressed with it. It has very easy application -smooth to apply to a baby’s bum- and we love that it is a natural, no nasties product. My daughter has quite sensitive skin and it has been working well on her bottom. We are on day 2 of testing this product. I have 2.5 boys in nappies and skin irritation seems to be affecting them all lately. My middle son has had a red raw bum lately, and after two days, it looks so much better already. It has a pleasant fragrance reminiscent of nature, and a nice texture. To be honest, I’m tempted to also use it as a hand cream for myself. Attractive packaging.
