They’re all the fun of LCMs in half the size.
LCMs are a delicious snack made from puffed white rice combined with yummy ingredients that kids love. With lots of varieties and flavours to choose from, LCMs are the sure-fire lunchbox hit. These individually wrapped LCMs bites are 12 grams each and come with a mix of 3 different LCMs flavours – Split Stix Yoghurty, Split Stix Chocolatey and Split Stix Banana Choc flavour. There are 9 minis in a bag and they contain no artificial colours or flavours.

Wow, what a difference one little treat can make for my kids! They both absolutely LOVED them and definitely made getting the odd difficult task done, especially by Mr 3 ie ‘if you have no accidents this weekend, you can have a yoghurt bar’. Worked perrfectly! Little miss also enjoyed them greatly so I think these will definitely be a pantry staple for the odd treat!
Ok part 2 of our review. The yoghurt flavour went down a treat with my girl so will try the banana 1 again now and update accordingly 😉
I was super excited to be able to sample this product. I used them for school lunches for my two young boys aged 9 and 6. Both of them loved the product which seems to be a rarity to find something that they both like. All the flavors were enjoyed immensely. The snack size was fantastic and would be great to grab as you run out the door. I would definitely recommend this product. Thank you for our trial pack.
Thank you for the chance to review Kellogg’s LCM split stick bites.! We were so happy to get the chance to try them,They were perfect size mr 6 year old he loved them and even came back for seconds. Mr 2 year loved the chocolate flavour (of couse) but wasnt a fan of the banana flavour. I found them perfect size for afternoon treats and to give Mr 6 in his lunch box for a special treat. Wil definitely be keeping an eye out for these in our local supermarket. Would be awesome if you can buy ether one pack with the same flavours or mix packed for my fussy bunch but other wise they were a thumbs up in this house.

I was very pleased to see mini snacks being produced – the littlies can still have a nice treat without going overboard. Great size for a lunchbox or for morning tea after a piece of fruit.
My fave flavour was the yoghurt flavoured Bites. They smell yummy as soon as they are opened and the taste definitely matched! They were sweet, but not sickly sweet.
The Chocolate banana tasted rather nice.
The Chocolate was my least fave, but it was was still fairly nice.
I gave one of each flavour to two of my Grandkids aged 7 and 11.
The 7 year old liked them all, but her fave was the yoghurt flavour.
The 11 year said the Banana Chocolate was sweet, but not overly sweet. She thought the flavour went straight to the banana, with a hint of chocolate – a good balance between the two flavours.
Then she tried the yoghurty Bite and pronounced that really good! She said it smells really yoghurty and just the right amount of sweet.
Her least fave was the chocolate flavour which she found rather plain. Although she said the chocolate on the bottom was a nice touch.
All in all, they were devoured in a few minutes. (not something I’d usually let them do!)
The bag was a good size, and they be easy to keep in the pantry.
I don’t know the retail price, but I will probably buy a packet a couple of times a month, especially if we’re going on a long car trip or a picnic.
These LCM Bites were a delicious treat for the kids in the holidays when we went to Western Springs. They loved all 3 flavours but the favourite was banana choc. They loved the idea of splitting them in two so they could swap flavours amongst eachother. Definitely a great snack for the school lunchboxes, not too sweet or two big. Having the Bites small allows for them to have a little treat now and then, I do find the big bars too much for them. Thanks for letting us sample these yummy treats.
My 4 kids LOVED these tasty wee morsels. Thanks heaps for letting us trial these bars. I LOVED the nice wee treat size, handy for putting into my handbag & pulling them out for a quick pick me up for the kids when we were out walking. Gave them a quick burst of energy to get home. I think they will become a staple in our household for our walks home from school. A yummy wee bite of deliciousness as a reward after school. The small treat size is BRILLIANT, just enough for kindy/primary kids that nothing went to waste. I have been buying your normal sized lcm bars for years but always cut them in half and had to repackage them to give to the kids as the full bar was too much for them. Thanks Kelloggs, keep up the good work.
Wow these disappeared faster than other popular snacks in our house!
Easy enough for Miss 4 to open by herself and small enough that it wasn’t too much for her. It was a bit sticky (not that she cared mind you!) But all in all a good product that we’ll purchase again and give out as treats.
Thanks for letting us try these – they were a huge hit! We went to the zoo last weekend and I packed some in my bag for the kids to have as a treat after lunch and needless to say they devoured them and begged for more. I love the size of these LCM bars as they are perfect for the little ones. The Banana-Chocolate was a huge hit in our house and we will definitely be picking these up for a special treat.
These went so fast in my house. As they are small sizes I think they would be perfect for primary school age kids. Nice way to give a little something but not too much. My kids are older so they wanted more than one.
The banana chocolate was the fav in my house, although they certainly didn’t have any aversion to any other flavours. I liked the variety in the pack as often you have to buy the same flavour in this type of thing. I would definitely buy again and enjoyed he opportunity to try them first as I am reluctant to attempt new things that get left in the pantry I have had quite a few cereal bar and box fails that have annoyed me over the years,. hank you for the try before you buy option to gain our custom very helpful.
My kids enjoyed reviewing these…. With 3 kids they taste tested each flavour. They liked all the flavours but preferred the yoghurt one.
As a parent I liked the size, not as large as the full size bar but good as a snack. The bigger ones full them up with treat food rather than having it as a treat.
They were satisfied with it and didn’t seem to need more.
They enjoyed them and would like them in their lunchboxes… they’d prefer to only get their favourite flavour in a bag though!
The new LCMs Split Stix Bites are yummy! They are perfect size for Miss 7s lunchbox, and a nice little treat for Mum to pop in her handbag. They are not big enough for Mr 13, but he did enjoy them.
Thank you so much for choosing us to take part in the LCM trial. These were an absolute hit in our house! Mr. 3 wanted to try the choc flavor first, so we had them for an afternoon treat. He loved them! I tried the banana and was pleasantly surprised, as banana flavored things can often be quite overwhelming, but this was just yummy! I really like the portion size as well, perfect for the littlies and great to pop in the lunchbox.
Will definitely be getting these again.
These were delicious! (yes I snuck one before the child got near them!! ;)) she wasn’t so keen on the chocolate one as (strangely enough) doesn’t like chocolate, but I thought those ones were yummy. She loved the yoghurt ones and also liked the banana choc ones which I thought she might turn her nose up at! All in all they were a win in our household and I would definitely buy them again. Would also suggest being able to buy the flavours separately. Thank you for giving us a chance to review!!
Thank you for the opportunity to review this product. I didn’t get to try them personally as my boys ate them all before I could! One son – Mr 6.5 loved the yoghurty ones but disliked the choc banana ones. Mr 5 loooved the chocolate ones the most but liked them all.
My suggestion would be to have the different flavours be available to buy seperately – then I wouldn’t get stuck with one flavour to fill my own lunchbox (or my husbands) ;-).

My children wanted to eat them straight away but i got them to hold off until for my son his rugby practice and my daughter a horse show.
Well my son was really hungry after his rugby practice and so i let him have one and he loved it. He likes how he gets to snap it in half as he said it adds to the fun of it. He loves the taste and as soon as he finished it he asked for more which is always a good sign for him as he can be very fussy.
My 8 year old daughter tried it at her latest horse show and she also loved how she could snap it but the best thing for her was the bite size as it meant she didn’t get her show clothes dirty and also it meant she got to eat it before her pony tried to eat it as well. She loved the taste and wanted more.
So all in all the children loved the bright colours on the packaging and how it snaps in half. We will be buying them again for the lunch box as it was a big hit in our house.

My kids loved these! Big kids wished they were bigger like the other ones but they are a perfect size for my little ones. My smaller kids tend to half half a LCM bar(the bigger size ones)left in their lunch box but with these justt the wrapper comes home. Banana was definitely a fav in my house. Since receiving this sample packet i have gone on to buy 5 mpre packets! Very happy with this product!

My 9-year-old was excited when these turned up. He tried the Chocolate one first, ate it all but said it was too sweet for him. He tried the other two flavours and said the same.
I was shocked. I then had to try them and although they are nice, by the time you get to the end of the bar they do become quite sweet. I personally think that if they were bite size they would be perfect.

My son, aged 9, loved the LCM Split Stix bars. He ranked his favourites as follows; Chocolate, Banana Chocolate, then Yoghurt. He liked the “design” of the split, often eating one half and saving the other for later. He said “They were a nice bite-sized snack, with a nice combination of crunchy and chewy”. He would love for me to buy them again for an after-school snack. 🙂 Thanks for the opportunity to trial these. They were a big hit with my son, who is usually a rather picky eater. Not when it came to the LCM Split Stix bars!
Brilliant! These little bites are so handy, we went on a family road trip and these tasty treats came along with us. The choc banana flavour was a favourite and the size is perfect for just a little snack as opposed to the large sized bar. Plus they fit nicely in the smaller lunch box compartments. Very nice.
The Kellogg’s LCM Split Stix Bites didn’t last long in our house! My kids all loved them, and they came at the perfect time, I had the flu so they were used as bribes to play nicely so that I could rest! The kids each had different favourites of the flavours, but they really enjoyed them all! I will be putting these in our trolley next time that I go shopping!
