Ghost spoon puppet

This festive Halloween ghost spoon puppet will be a fun addition to your Halloween display. Stage a fabulously ghoulish ghost play this holiday with your kids and watch as they enjoy their imaginative play.

What you need:

• Wooden spoon
• White paint
• White cotton wool
• Scrap of black craft foam
• White felt
• Glue
• A pair of wiggle eyes

Activity:

Paint the spoon white and leave to dry.

Roll the white felt into a cone shape, leaving a narrow opening for the spoon to slip through the centre of the cone.

Glue the felt together to close the cone as this is your ghost’s sheet.

Paint glue around the top of the spoon handle and slide the spoon into the top of the cone.

To make the arms, cut a narrow rectangle of white felt. Glue this to the back of the sheet so the two ends stick out either side. Glue two tufts of cotton woo to the ends of arms.

Cut a scary mouth out of the black foam and stick two wiggle eyes and the mouth to the bowl of the spoon.

Display your spooky ghost spoon by the door or on the table amongst the bowls of treats!
