Heads up hoops in the water pool game

Combine pool games with balloons in this fun hoop activity.  Smaller children will find swimming through the hoops underwater a great challenge.

What you need:

  • A packet of modelling balloons (a.k.a balloon animal balloons)
  • Hose
  • Swimming pool
  • Adult supervision (of course!)

Number of players:

Activity:

First use the hose to fill up your balloons.

Tie each one into a loop.

Throw three or four (or as many as you managed to create) into the pool. Wait for them to settle into place. Some will float on the surface, some will sink and float vertically for a while.

When your hoops are in a good position, jump, dive (carefully!) or swim through the hoops.
