Heart art

Valentine's Day is a great opportunity to say 'I love you' to those people who mean the most to you. This heart art kids' art and craft project is an easy and quick kids' activity that will give your little ones the chance to make something special.

What you need:

• red card stock
• pink card stock
• white card stock
• scissors
• glue
• markers, crayons or coloured pencils
• glitter and sequins

Number of players:
1+

Activity:

Draw or sketch a heart on pink construction paper or card stock.

Draw another heart on white card stock but make this one slightly smaller than the first.

Use your scissors to cut the hearts out of the card stock.

Glue the white heart centred onto the pink heart.

Use markers, coloured pencils or glitter and sequins to decorate the card.

Some suggestions include drawing smaller hearts, writing a special message to someone you care about and sending it with a kiss!
