Make a fairy seat for your fairy garden

Little girls love fairies.  Why not make a fairy garden to entice the fairies to visit?  You'll also need some fairy furniture like this fairy bench seat.  It will lead to hours of imaginary fairy games for your little girl.

What you need:

  • 6 x 10cm long twigs
  • 2 x 2cm twigs
  • 2 x mini Paddlepop sticks
  • hot glue gun
  • stanley knife or garden secateurs (pruning shears)

Number of players:
1+

Activity:

Watch the video to see a fairy bench seat come together.

Use the two mini Paddlepop sticks as the base for the seat.  Trim them to size, about 3cm in length is ideal.

Place the Paddlepop sticks parallel to each other about 10cm apart and then use a hot glue gun to glue the four 10cm twigs onto them in rows. This forms the seat of your fairy chair.

Now put the two short twigs (the 2cm ones) at the front. Glue them on to be the front legs of the chair.

Use two long twigs to form the back legs and back-rest for the chair.

Use the remaining two long twigs to sure up the back-rest, placing them horizontally across the back.

Now put it in a fairy garden and wait for the fairies to come!
