Make veggie faces
Sometimes you need to get a bit creative to get kids eating vegetables. Turning veggies into a fun craft activity will take the mealtime angst out of a plate full of vegetables. You could also make fruit faces for a fun afternoon snack idea.
What you need:
- 1 cucumber, chopped into circles
- 1 carrot, cut into thick sticks
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 red capsicum, sliced
- green beans, topped and tailed, blanched
- broccoli florets, blanched

Activity:
Chop and slice your veggies into pieces that will make a face. Present your child with a plate of vegetable shapes and ask them if they can make a face.
Once they've finished creating their face, you can almost guarantee they will eat something off the plate.
