Halloween and dress up days don’t have to be difficult. You can make some easy homemade dress ups by putting together a few crafty accessories. Add these black cat’s ears to a black leotard and tights and you have an easy Halloween costume.

What you need:

• 1 x FREE printable cat’s ears template
• 1 x black headband
• black cardboard or foam board
• glue
• scissors

Activity:

Print out the FREE cat’s ears template. 

Trace the ear shapes onto black card or black foamboard.

Cut out the ears.

Place the ears onto the headband, with the headband sitting where the fold line is at the centre of each mirror image ear.

Glue along the bottom of the headband. Attach the ears opened out to the underside of the headband.

When that’s set, fold the two ears together and glue them.

Voila! Black cat’s ears.
