Michael, Michael, go recycle

Learning to recycle is sometimes a mystery to kids. This online game is not only fun but kids will learn the importance of picking up rubbish and separating it into different bins. Bottles, papers and cans are all treated differently and you get to convert the litter bugs too!

What you need:

  • computer with internet access

Number of players:

Activity:

Using the arrow keys on the keyboard, take Michael around the park, collecting rubbish to put into the recycling bins scattered about.

At the bottom of the screen, the game shows you how many litter bugs are around the park for you to find and how many pieces of rubbish there are out there.

Collect the rubbish and convert the litter bugs just by running into them before your time runs out!

You can find the game on the Kaboose website.

Notes:

  • Each bin is labelled differently. You cannot add paper to a bottle bin, for instance. Make sure you get to the right bin in time.
  • Progressing through the levels, you will come across more rubbish, more litterbugs and the litterbugs will drop rubbish faster. Try to find the litterbugs first to stop them littering.
