Paper plate clown

Paper plates are a great starting point for lots of fun kids' crafts.  This clown face is a simple one for toddlers.  Just set out all the bits and see if they can do it themselves.

What you need:

• 1 x paper plate
• 2 x googly craft eyes
• 1 x packet of small pom poms
• 1 x red pipe cleaner
• glue
• scissors

Get your paper plate and crafty bits ready.

Make a clown wig out of pom poms by gluing them around the top edge of the plate.

Glue the eyes on.

Glue on a red pom pom for a nose.

Use the pipe cleaner to make a big red clown mouth; stick it on with glue.
