Play dough can provide hours of entertainment with all the different activities and games you can play. The kids will love this activity as they can create and recreate any imprint they can find.

Play dough can provide hours of entertainment with all the different activities and games you can play. The kids will love this activity as they can create and recreate any imprint they can find.

What you need:

  • homemade or store-bought non-toxic playdough or clay
  • leaves
  • small rolling pins or round dowels

Number of players:
1+

Activity:

Take your playdough and divide it up depending on how many children are participating.

Go outside and collect leaves from the yard.

Roll or pat the play dough flat.

Children should be able to do this once you have shown them.

Demonstrate how to press the leaves into the play dough to make an imprint.

The leaf prints can be saved or children can use other objects to make different imprints.
