Imaginative play is so much fun. Children can be very creative and play for hours.
What you need:
- Box
- Pretend money
- Boxes of food
- Tinned food
- Plastic or cloth bags
Activity:
A box can be used as a shopping till.
Using pretend money, organise it in the till.
Grab items that are going to be sold in the shop and arrange them on a table.
One child can pretend to be the shopper with a bag and place the items in it that they are buying.
The other child is the shop assistant who adds up the cost of the items and then use the till to take the money and give change.
