Make these easy leprechaun heads this St Patrick’s Day to celebrate the luck of the Irish. It’s a simple paper plate craft idea that your kids will love.

What you need:

• 1 x white paper paper plate
• 1 x A4 piece green construction paper
• small strip of black paper
• even smaller piece of yellow paper
• marker pens
• glue
• scissors

Activity:

Start by colouring around the edge of the plate in orange, to make the leprechaun’s beard.

Now fringe-cut his beard all the way around.

Cut a green hat out of construction paper, measure it against the top of the paper plate to make sure it will ‘fit’ your leprechaun’s head.

Cut a black strip for a hat band and a small yellow square for a buckle.

Glue his hat on.

Use a black marker pen to give him a happy face.
