Smell experiment

Everybody has a unique smell, this cool science experiment will prove it! The kids will love being blindfolded and trying to guess who’s clothes belong to who!

What you need:

• blindfold
• item of clothing from each family member

Number of players:
2+

Activity:

Put on the blindfold.

Ask your friend to get an item of clothing that belongs to a member of your family.

Get your friend to hold the clothing under your nose.

Now try and guess whose clothing it is by the smell.

You should be able to guess which items belong to which family members.

Why?

We all have a special smell which comes from the pheromones our body makes.
