Telephone game

What you need:

• A toy telephone

Number of players:
1+

Activity:

Sit your baby on your lap and hold the phone to your ear as you talk into it.

Say a short sentence that includes your baby’s name.

Hold the phone to your baby’s ear and repeat the same sentence.

After you have done this a few times, pretend to have a longer conversation of two or three sentences.

Use your baby’s name in the conversation and other words that he understands such as “Daddy,” “Mummy,” etc.

Put the phone to your baby’s ear and see if he will talk into it.
