Wet sand play with toys

Try this activity for a new twist on imaginative play at the beach or backyard sandpit.

• Sand
• Water

Next time your kids play in the backyard sandpit, or you take a trip to the beach, get them to bring along their toys to play with in the sand.

Kids can use LEGO bricks to make imprints in the sand. They can also build a roadway out of wet sand and then ‘drive’ toy vehicles up and down it.

Toy trucks can also be used to transfer sand around.
