Emma and her mum review The World’s Worst Parents

Emma loved this book!

So many silly and relatable tales and I’m sure most tweens can agree with David Walliams sentiment of all the parents being embarrassing. Although the parents in this book really take the cake! But apparently only a little bit more embarrassing than Emma’s own mum it would seem – according to Emma!

This book has ten stories of the World’s Worst Parents which had Emma and her mum laughing and debating over whose parents would be the worst and there are plenty to chose from!

Peter Pong is the dad with the smelliest feet in the world – could you just imagine if that was your own Dad?

Or Monty Monopolize the Dad who steals all of his own kids toys!

Then there’s Super Mum who has a very bad homemade outfit and but also seems to be a real neat freak…

Emma gives this book a 9 out of 10.

It was very easy to understand, light and funny and Emma’s mum loved hearing about Emma’s interpretation of the characters and continuing to spark her imagination and love of words.
