Bargain Box Choice delivers family favourite recipes at bargain prices, with everything you need delivered to your door by New Zealand’s cheapest meal-kit – and now with added choice for those fussier family members.
What type of food can I typically expect in a Bargain Box Choice delivery?
Every week you can choose from eight recipes packed with goodness that will make you go WHOA! The amazing Bargain Box chefs and taste testers create meals the whole fam will love. They’re packed with plenty of veggies (perfect for growing bodies!), have easy-to-follow instructions, and are super tasty, too!
There will be a selection of proteins to choose from each week i.e. some chicken dinners, some beef etc. as well as two vegetarian meals.
Bargain Box chicken and eggs are free-range, they use sustainably caught fish, and source as many veggies and other ingredients as possible from local suppliers.
Bargain Box Choice options
Bargain Box Choice is available for three, four, or five nights per week and comes in three sizes:
Serves 2: Great for a couple, or 2 adults with a young child
Serves 4: Feeds 4 adults/teens, or 2 adults and 3 kids
Serves 6: Feeds 6 adults/teens, or great for big families

We would love to trial this box, trying to get my 13 year-old son more interested in cooking & feeling this would be the way to do it as he can help choose the meals & then make them with me. Would only need a two person box.
This would be a great help to my husband who is the stay at home parent to our 3 busy children. We would love to trial the box for 4 people for 5 nights please.
With after school sports and kindy parent help etc, anything that can make mealtimes easier is fantastic. We have never tried bargain box before because it is a big investment to make if it doesnt work out.
Our 9 and 12 year old want to help more in the ktichen too so this could be good for them to be able to follow the recipes and help out.

This would really help on those weeks were things are a wee bit tight budget wise. We are trying to buy our first home so trying to save the pennies 🙂
We would love to be considered for this. Probably the 6 person box. Although there are 5 of us, we have 3 kids with big appetites who love trying new things. Our kids (12, 9 & 2) would be super keen.
Wow this would be amazing, we would love to trial a 4 person box. Both me and my husband work fulltime with long commutes, so often get home late after picking our 2 boys up from daycare and are in a rush to get dinner ready before bedtime. Or up late after they go to bed, prepping dinner for the next night. This would make life so much easier. Would love to try the family recipes too as our 2 year old is a fussy wee thing.
I would love to trial one of these boxes. I have got two children, one who eats anything, and one who is super fussy. I would love to try new things for my fussy 4 year old.

This would be so good for our fussy eaters aged 6 and 3 years!

I would love to do this product trail with my family. We are a family of 4 and would love to do it for 5nights. I’m currently on placement for nursing so this would be so ideal to trial and see if it works for us as any easier option to get into. Thanks kidspot.
My family would love the 4 person box please. We haven’t tried this before and my daughters are keen to try and help prepare the meals. I work part time and my husband is on a benefit and is our meal preparer! We are lacking meal idea inspiration that is inexpensive, easy and tasty! So this could solve our problems. Very keen to try and share our review of this product!

I have a 10 year old who has been asking to help in the kitchen so I think this would be a great way to get him started. We’ve also been looking at how to switch up our go-to recipes as the kids are getting a little bored of my cooking so this could definitely help here – especially since it still uses lots of fresh veggies. I’ve also been looking at introducing a food bag every couple of weeks now we’re heading into winter so if Bargain Box works for us, we’d definitely look at buying it again.
A 4 person box for 5 nights please.
I would love to participate in this trial/review. We would love the 2 persons box as it is myself, my husband and a 2 year old. We would love to try this as we are also juggling a 3 month old and to not have to worry about groceries or dinner would be a huge relief especially when hubby works late 2 nights a week so it is just myself getting the 2 kids fed and off to bed!

What an awesome trial! We would like to be considered for the Bargain Box Choice for 2 people. It’ll be for my partner, our 1 year old and myself. We’ve never tried something like this and I think it’ll be a fantastic opportunity to see if that fits with us. I lm desperate for more food ideas and also to easy our dinners during the week while we’re tired after working. Here for a more balanced diet! Wow what a great idea for a trial, I would love to try this with 4 tweens/teens to feed and a busy work, sport, social life for my kids I really want to get them in the kitchen but without me needing to tell them what to do…this would be a great opportunity for them to learn how to make some new and exciting recipes and for me to get a night off and feel like I’ve been out for dinner. The meals look very tasty. We’d love to trial the 6 family one.
Would love to give this a try. 3x males. Growing inquisitive 4 year old, 14 year old basketballer/ footballer & a full time martial artist and myself. We are such an active family so finding alternative , fresh healthy meals for our ever growing fams would be fab!
I would love to try either the 2 person box for when it’s just hubby and myself, or the 4 person option for when my children are home on the weekends. These would be great for the days when I am working and not getting in until 6.30pm to know the meal has already been planned out for me! I would also really love to see if they are suitable to recommend to my son who has left home and doesn’t always prepare the most nutritious meals when he gets home from a long day at work!
My family would love to try the 6 person option. We’re a busy family – hubby and I both work full time and our young kids (school and daycare aged) have activities, homework etc. We try really hard to provide home cooked, nutritious meals but it is hard sometimes to come up with ideas that are quick, easy and nutritious! We’d love to try and review Bargain Box Choice. I love the fact you can swap out meals and that there are vegetarian options in there too. Hopefully there will be some leftovers for nutritious lunches too!
Would be awesome to trial for my famoly as we have never tried bargin box. I have 2 boys who are 10 and 11 who I’m encouraging to learn to cook more and help in the kitchen and been able to trial bargin box will be another great learning experience for them in the kitchen as they are always up to trying new recipes and giving the best they can when cooking in the kitchen.
We would love to try Bargain Box for 4 people. We are a really busy family of full time working parents juggling after school activities for our 7 and 5 year old and it would be great to not have to think up dinner options and get some fresh new ideas. I love the fact that Bargain Box chicken and eggs is free range too, something that is very important to me. Miss 7 is showing a keen interest in the kitchen and I’d love to see if the meals are suitable for her to help with preparing. We would be more than happy to take part in this review opportunity.
We’d love to participate in this! I’m fed up with cooking the same old, same old and trying to appease everyone (especially the husband – he’s the fussiest!) My four year old loves to help, which would be so much easier if we have a recipe to follow =)
Meals for four please!
My family of 4 would love the opportunity to try this. With going back to work this year I’m struggling to find that work life balance and meal times have been a mess. We would love to try the ease of bargain box and need some more variety to out dinner menu

We are a busy family of four (two adults, 1 school age child and 1 preschooler) who love eating good food, but are often too time-poor to produce it ourselves. We always start the week with good intentions, but often find it gets too difficult trying to produce something everyone will enjoy, so resort to takeaways or our few repetitive recipes. We would love to try Bargain Box Choice for 4 people. I have heard such great things about Bargain Box, and being able to choose meals to suit your family means you can be assured that you will all eat it. This could be the answer to getting us all into the kitchen to cook and then eat together, and I would love to see how this could improve our family’s dinner rut.
I would absolutely LOVE to trial this for you kidspot! I actually don’t enjoy cooking dinner at the best of times because life is so freaking busy with a family of 6 and a dog!! This would be awesome to not have to worry about what to cook for tea!!! Might even be leftovers for my husband for work the next day.

Wow, what an amazing product to trial! We would love to try and review Bargain Box Choice for 4. We’re a really busy household with myself being a solo mum of 3 busy little darlings. Working full time means any time savings like not having to head to the supermarket and having ingredients arrive at the door would be an absolute lifesaver. I love that there are different recipes to choose from and have the kids can help choose and cook with me. Sounds like a win!!
Ohmigosh yes!!!! We are a family of four with an 8 and a 10 year old who seemingly never get full and I have just run out of meal ideas. Our meal rotation gets even worse in winter with less fresh vegie choices around. I struggle every day to think of what to cook and start trying to decide at 8 in the morning. This box would take the stress out of thinking what to do for dinner!

This trial of Bargin Box meals would be ideal.
With both of us working full time as teachers, and with 4 kids (aged 5-12), a bargain box for 6 would be fantastic for us. We both have meetings and sports teams to oversee, and our own children’s extra curricular activities meaning we often get home and rush to get dinner ready before the kids’ bedtime. We have tried another meal service, but found the meals to be very repetitive, so am hoping Bargain Box would sit our family and children’s palates better.
