Bargain Box Choice delivers family favourite recipes at bargain prices, with everything you need delivered to your door by New Zealand’s cheapest meal-kit – and now with added choice for those fussier family members.
What type of food can I typically expect in a Bargain Box Choice delivery?
Every week you can choose from eight recipes packed with goodness that will make you go WHOA! The amazing Bargain Box chefs and taste testers create meals the whole fam will love. They’re packed with plenty of veggies (perfect for growing bodies!), have easy-to-follow instructions, and are super tasty, too!
There will be a selection of proteins to choose from each week i.e. some chicken dinners, some beef etc. as well as two vegetarian meals.
Bargain Box chicken and eggs are free-range, they use sustainably caught fish, and source as many veggies and other ingredients as possible from local suppliers.
Bargain Box Choice options
Bargain Box Choice is available for three, four, or five nights per week and comes in three sizes:
Serves 2: Great for a couple, or 2 adults with a young child
Serves 4: Feeds 4 adults/teens, or 2 adults and 3 kids
Serves 6: Feeds 6 adults/teens, or great for big families

Wow what an awesome trial this would be! We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children with one of my kids being extremely fussy. I am always keen to try new foods/meal options that are family friendly but also still super tasty for us adults.

As a single Mum who works full time this would be an absolute life saver! Trying to think up meal ideas to feed my son is another job on the list. This would make life much easier 🙂

Yes please would love to try the 4 person option for our family of 5. Meal times are so busy in our home with a baby and 2 primary aged kids 6 and 5. Would love to try to encourage kids to try more food options as our oldest is autistic and we are trying to get him to help with food prep to encourage to try more food choices aswell as my husband who’s abit fussy too.
We would live to be a part of this awesome trial, both my husband and 2 year old have become such picky eaters that i now bsolutely dread meal times.
Pre baby we did sign up to bargain box, however due to my husband’s picky eating a lot of the meals didn’t get made, it would be great to try the choice box as I’m super keen to get back on the ‘happy mealtimes’ bandwagon, especially with another baby on the way.
I would love to try the 6 person family box! We are a big busy family with fussy kids bored with the everyday meal ideas at home & would love abit of inspiration! We have tried HelloFresh and thought the concept was excellent, but the kids didn’t like most of it. I feel this is more up our alley as more down to earth. The Bain of my existence is constantly having to stress planning meals so it would be a massive bonus being able to give this company a try. We would love to try the Bargain box as a family of 5 me and husband both work full time as well as study full time. Thus would help ease the pressure of having a healthy easy dinner every night.
WOW this would be amazing to trial! We are a family of 4 with two boys ages 9 & 11. They both like being in the kitchen and what a great way to get them to take some responsibility and direction with the evening meals. We have sports 5 days a week after school with games on the weekend so our time is limited and I love to have a plan in place.
We would love to give Bargain Box a try to see if it makes our mealtimes easier, gets the boys more involved in all aspects of preparing, cooking and enjoying and we find new delicious meals to add to our usual go to options. It would be an absolute honor to be selected to review a bargain box. I have been avidly weighing options whether to invest in a subscription in food boxes or not still am unsure. I am a family of 6 so thus would come in handy. But it would help in my decision. Helping with meal ideas making it more varied. Allsorts to weigh in. But it would be lovely to be selected.

It would be amazing for my family to participate in this trial. We are a busy family of six, (2 busy parents) and 4 kids in primary and secondary school. As a Mum, I work full time and usually go shopping for groceries during my break and sometimes because of this, I miss out on having a decent meal during my break. Bargain box would give me the opportunity to experiment with yummy recipes for my fussy kids and allow us to have nourishing meals. Since buying fresh, high quality produce can be difficult, it would be awesome to get the freshest seasonal NZ produce delivered to us. Cooking is my stress reliever and I love taking photos of food to share with my friends and whanau

I would love to try this for my family of 4. I have always wanted to try one of the food boxes but have never got around to it as I’m not too sure which one to try it would make life so much easier for dinner as both me and my husband work and our boys are 4 and 1. We’ve never tried a Bargain Box so would love the opportunity to trial this product! It would be great to try the 4 person option with my husband and two daughters (9 and 7) to get a bit more variety in our meals and to help with meal planning with the busyness of work, school and after school activities!

Wow! This would be amazing to trial, the choice factor is such a great idea! I really would appreciate trying the fish and some vege meals as I am looking for healthy ways to add fish to our diet and also that all the kids would enjoy!
We would want to trail the 6 person box as we have a family of 7. I think it would be plenty though as the 2 littlies are small and wouldn’t eat a whole portion each.

We would love to trial the 2 person box. Trying to juggle 2 part time jobs, full time study and a fussy 4 yr old that only attends preschool 3 days doesn’t leave a lot of time to think of yummy dinners. My partner and I kind of got stuck in a rut and end up making the same 4 or 5 dishes over and over. And did I mention fussy 4 year old? It’s so difficult to get him to eat anything.
I would love for our family to be selected for the trial of Bargain Box meals for 4 people. Having just started working again, and with my Fibromyalgia, time and energy are lower than normal, making dinners more difficult to deal with currently. This would help out immensely. I’d love to try this. We are a family of 5 (sometimes 6) and I often find myself making 2-3 different meals a night due to very fussy kids. I also think this would be a great opportunity to get my 10 and 8 year olds helping in the kitchen and hopefully by doing that they may actually eat what they help cook. Wow this would be amazing to trial, I have an 8 year old that is extremely fussy and so I feel that we can’t do these meal deals and include him. Planning meals in advance that suit everyone is hard work and it ends up so repetitive, this would be awesome to try. We would love a 4 person box please!
My family would LOVE to try the Bargain Box! My four year old is super fussy with dinners and it’s a constant challenge finding nutritious meals to cook that she will actually eat. I cannot make chicken nuggets 7 nights a week! I’d love to see if these recipes will appeal to her and help to change her eating habits
I’d love a 4 person! I’m a single working mama of two kids. My son is about to undergo heart surgery and it would be a lot easier to cook dinners from bargain box than to prepare dinners otherwise! I’d love tI be considered!
As a family of 5 we would love to be considered for the 4 family box.
We have previously used a meal box that starts with H and ends with H. Having a child who is both gluten and dairy free we found that provider to have many meals that were either heavy in gluten or dairy making it quite complex when trying to do suitable “swaps” or alternatives.
It would be great to give Bargain Box a go as they seem to be more kid friendly and be focused on fresh vegetables.
Mr. 7 also loves cooking and what a great way to get him involved!
