Bargain Box Choice delivers family favourite recipes at bargain prices, with everything you need delivered to your door by New Zealand’s cheapest meal-kit – and now with added choice for those fussier family members.
What type of food can I typically expect in a Bargain Box Choice delivery?
Every week you can choose from eight recipes packed with goodness that will make you go WHOA! The amazing Bargain Box chefs and taste testers create meals the whole fam will love. They’re packed with plenty of veggies (perfect for growing bodies!), have easy-to-follow instructions, and are super tasty, too!
There will be a selection of proteins to choose from each week i.e. some chicken dinners, some beef etc. as well as two vegetarian meals.
Bargain Box chicken and eggs are free-range, they use sustainably caught fish, and source as many veggies and other ingredients as possible from local suppliers.
Bargain Box Choice options
Bargain Box Choice is available for three, four, or five nights per week and comes in three sizes:
Serves 2: Great for a couple, or 2 adults with a young child
Serves 4: Feeds 4 adults/teens, or 2 adults and 3 kids
Serves 6: Feeds 6 adults/teens, or great for big families

I would love to try the 4 person box please. We have tried one other food service in the past but the kids were not keen on the meals so it would be great to try Bargain Box that has kid-friendly choices. I was hoping that the kids would be less fussy once they became teenagers but it hasn’t happened yet! Thank you 🙂
We would love to try the 6 person box for our family of 2 adults and 3 kids. The leftover portion would be perfect for my husband to take to work the next day.
We are stuck in a rut cooking the same meals for our family and the kids are getting bored. I’d love to try some new recipes to get the kids excited about dinner again. My son has also been wanting to help out at dinner time and this would be the perfect way to get him involved.
Our family would love to trial the bargain box choice for 4. With our three children growing fast and busy in the afternoons with after school activities, dinner is often left as a last minute thought with not a lot of imagination involved. We always end up going back to the same old recipes week after week. I’m sure we would all love to try the different recipes included in the bargain box choice!
Yes please, I am a single full time working mum and struggle to get miss fussy 11 year old to eat properly with quick food. Her choosing the menus would certainly help me get a nutritious meal into her and have the convenience of thinking of and making anything I have to hand.
We have tried meal boxes before but not having the choice of meals was a bit hit and miss of what she would eat.
I would love to try out Bargain Box Choice for 4 people – we are a hungry family of 5 and as the one responsible for getting food on the table every day anything that helps would be amazing! I am a confident cook but often lack inspiration, and with my kids being adventurous eaters I don’t want them to lose that because mum is out of ideas!
We have one child so would like to try the two person box please. I am interested to see if this is a convenient, quality, timesaving and healthy option for our little family. I am hoping it would also increase the range of food we eat and encourage my child to try new things.
I’d love to be considered for this trail. I was literally lamenting this week that I really struggle deciding what to cook for the family each day and thought that meal boxes may help. The kids are getting a bit sick of the same meals and it would be nice to have some inspiration. I’ve got 2 fussy boys (7 and 3 years) and a 1 year old girl. I would love to be considered for the 6 person meal as then hubby and I could have leftovers for work the next day.
I would love to trial the bargain boxes. We are a family of 2 adults and a 2yr old boy that eats just as much! So the 4 person box would be great. That should give us some leftovers for lunch too. I work nights 6pm-6am and dinner times are so difficult on those days. Would love the opportunity to try them and see if they make life easier.

I would love to try bargain box. The idea of having all you need available for the weeks dinner without forgetting to pull meat out of the freezer sounds great. Would be great to be able to try it to see if it really is child friendly/approved as well.
We would love to trial the 4 person box. We have two hungry adults and two girls aged 10 and 3 who love their food as well! With hubby gone 13 hours a day and me busy with my 7 week old newborn I would love to have the chore of deciding what to cook each night taken away for a week 🙂
I would love to trial the 6 person box. As a mum of 4 kids, one with high disabilities and high medical needs this would save me so much time and energy having to decide what to make for dinner while still providing us a healthy fresh meal.

I would love to try this Bargain box. We are family of 5, its me and 4 kids, ages 10, 9, 7 and 5. I am finding it very hard to come up with nutritious meals that everyone would enjoy, and often dinner ends in a lot of food wastage. I am really keen to see if this will help get my kids more involved in cooking dinners, also reducing the amount of food we are wasting.

I would love to trial this. We sometimes get hello fresh but none of the kids want to eat it. Would love to find something that is a bit cheaper and the whole family are happy to eat.
I’d love to try the 2 person box as I am a bit stuck on what to cook for dinner at the moment for my partner, myself and a fussy, won’t even try things, son (2.8yrs). I just cook the same things every week. This would take the stress out of deciding what to cook each night and hopefully open up my sons exposure to trying different foods!
I would really love to please try this for my family of 4. We where just watching tv last night saw your advertisement and said to each other would love to try bargain box out. Iam getting sick of cooking the same thing every week would love the opportunity to try new recipes and with me having to take time off work sick would like not having to shop and everything be delivered to my door. Like to try the 6 person option please. I’m currently feeding 3 growing boys and a hubby. They eat a lot! All active with different kinds of sports, travelling to different game locations. We are a busy family!
I would love to have the opportunity to trial this product. Being a mum of 2 kiddies, a full-time student, and a worker makes mealtimes challenging. I would love to find out if this would work for my family and take the hassle out of everyday stresses. We are a family of 4, and sometimes my fussy eaters make it hard to cook for especially on our hectic days.
Would love to try this! I really struggle with ideas for dinners that are child-friendly – particularly as my four year old son is very fussy! However we have found that he is more likely to eat kai he helps make so this sounds ideal. I’ve also been meaning to try the meal kits but most of the ones I’ve found are not child friendly. With both adults working it’s a chore to even think about what to have for dinner so this would be amazing. Would love to try for 5 nights, for 4 people.
I have never tried any fresh food delivery service such as this and would love to try it out. The veggies are a great addition and the ease and value for money. We would like the serve 2 option, thank you for the opportunity.
A 4 person box would be great for me plus 3 kids to try. As a working sole parent juggling work and children with lots of after school activites (music, sports, kapa haka etc) it can be really hard to come up with quick nutritious meals that everyone will eat. My youngest can be especially fussy which makes me hesitant to sign up to something like this – would love to be able to “try before you buy”. Thank you.
We would absolutely love the opportunity to try the Bargain Box choice box. I am a single mum to 2 busy children – 4 and 7, and having to constantly think about meals to cook is exhausting at times. I would love to try the 4 person box as it would allow us to cover dinner and have leftovers for lunches or those even busier nights of after school sports.
It would be great to get my children more involved too so they can pick what they’d like, which will allow them to hopefully try new things and get them more involved in cooking and preparing meals as well.

I have never used a meal prep delivery service before, and would love to give it a go. Our dinner routines are very inconsistent and on the fly, so this could be a potential game changer for us. We are 2 adults, 3 kids so the 4 person box would suit us.

I have one fussy eater and another who has dairy intolerances. We had tried Hello Fresh before but I would love to try this Bargain Box and see who come up tops. 🙂
There are four in our family; Mum, Dad, 4 year old and a nearly 2 year old. They love to try new things and would love to receive their food in a box for them to unpack and help cook every week. With my husband and I being busy and tag teaming at nights to get tea cook, it would be so helpful for us both to know what’s for tea and what can be prepped in advance.
This would be awesome to try as we have thought about it before but have 2 picky eaters. Would be very impressed if it got them eating!!
