Thanks so much for choosing us to trial the juices. I think they’re great and my daughter really enjoyed them too. Seems to be a guilt free juice child or adult can enjoy on the run. Can’t wait for the new tropical one to come out, sounds yummy! Love the packaging on them all too.

Yay! we loved trialling these. Juice in our household is a treat – they’re not allowed in school lunches for us, but that said, I’m happy to have these in our fridge for a great fruit drink for kids. Blackcurrant was the favourite – I think because it was a different flavour from the usual juices, but after the samples I bought a pack of Apple flavour and the kids love them! I tasted them myself – I had imagined a really watered down drink and was pleasantly surprised that they were full of flavour. Definitely not a strong usual juice flavour but actually a refreshing fruit juice. The packaging – really cool looking, and squishy packs I imagine are great for school lunches, but the little straw and hole was a fail for us. My husband hated putting the straws in the drinks. the youngest took great delight in creating a fountain through the straw (she’d do the same with a juice carton so this is just a usual child/drink hazard), and the straw also sunk so low you were lucky to have a few millimetres of straw above the packaging if they’d pushed the straw in as far as they could…. so packaging wasn’t a winner – but storing them, with that packaging was really easy because they just slot into a gap in the fridge. As far as fruit drinks go though – I’d buy these before any others – great real fruit flavour, less of the bad sugars, added goodness of water, and a fantastic drink treat for kids. Thank you for choosing our family to trial this product!

I received our Charlie’s pouches in the mail today. Unfortunately the Blackcurrant one had sprung a leak. I had trouble finding where it had leaked from. It seemed to be from the hole where the straw goes in. They are a really good size and I liked the fact that they had no nasty additives in them. We found the orange one a little bit tart ( I tried some of it after the children weren’t so keen) . The apple one they did enjoy a lot. The illustrations on the packages were great. I think that they would be great popped in the frezzer overnight and then put in the lunch boxes on hot days. They would help keep the lunch cool as well as provide a nice cold drink.
Thank you for sending us these.

Hello. My 3 children aged 3, 5 and 8 all loved the blackcurrant flavour the best. Not too sweet and quenched their thirsts. Apple was the next best flavour but a bit insipid. Orange flavour not popular – too sour. Great pouches and straws.

These went down a treat with my three year old. In this hot weather we are having sometimes water doesn’t quench the thirst so this was a great alternative to give my son. Considering he sucked them down minutes its safe to say they had great flavour and were refreshing to him. As a mum I liked that he could have something other than water but not loaded with sugar which the packaging makes clear. My son liked the packaging, it was visually appealing to him, as soon as he saw it he wanted to know what it was. I found these to be a good size which is a must since they cant be resealed. The only thing I find with packaging like it is ensuring my little one doesnt squeeze it and make juice go everywhere – but thats a minor thing and something he needs to learn. We will definitely be buying again and cant wait to try the tropical flavour. It would be great to see a passionfruit flavour come out at some stage.

My girls loved the apple and blackcurrant flavour but left me with the orange one. I tried it and it was quite bitter so I’m not surprised they didn’t want it. It tasted exactly like freshly squeezed oranges with added water and quite a bit of tartness. The apple and blackcurrant ones were a lot sweeter but not overly sweet so I’d be happy to buy those flavours again for the kids. It’s great that they have no nasty boys in them and freezing them in this hot weather will be a welcome treat. I think they’ll be great for me 13 months to eventually have too as they’re much better for you than other drinks.

Thanks very much for the juice trial. My three kids, two aged 10 and one 5 year old were very keen to try the juice. The kids struggled a bit getting the straws into the pouch, my 5 year old had no show of doing this herself. I was pleased to see they didn’t have the plastic screw tops but was disappointed the kids couldn’t manage punching the straw in. They didn’t like the Orange, my daughter said it was too lemony and sour, I was surprised and tasted it myself, I had to agree, it wasn’t very nice. In fact they wouldn’t drink it at all and it was tipped out. They loved the Blackcurrant and Apple. Overall, for the two flavours they did like its a nice option for a healthier drink.

It was a lovely surprise for the kids to find these in the letterbox late one afternoon. They loved especially the blackcurrant juice. I think these juices are great thirst quenchers, because they’re so refreshing and not sweet at all. In spite of the tangy flavour, the kids loved them a lot and drank them without complaining! So I was very pleased with the product and would definitely consider buying them in the future, considering they don’t have any artificial flavours/colours and sugars.

Thank you for selecting my family to review these fruit juice pouches. My grandson aged 6 was so wrapped to go out to mail box and receive the parcel and when we opened the parcel his face burst out in a full smile and when chilled the pouches he had to have the Orange one.. He loved the taste and loved the colourful packaging and his sister age 4 loved the apple one and Me (Nana) loved the taste of the blackcurrant one.. They really left feeling refreshed and ready to go about our life…I will definitely be buying these pouches again to have in the fridge for when the grandchildren come to stay .The taste of the juice was very nice and tasted very much like being fresh from the fruit.I would like to see maybe a Blueberry one or maybe even a nectarine or a watermelon one.. I will definitely be recommending the pouches to my family and friends as they are a fantastic filler for kid’s lunchboxes…

Thank you so much for considering me for the trial of this amazing product. I received it today in my mail and my son got so excited to see the pouches that he wanted to try them right away. But I chilled them first before drinking. We tried Apple flavor first and it tastes good and definitely it is without sugar and tastes natural. Charlie’s pouches are convenient to use and can be handled by the kids as a part of their lunch boxes. They are good to be used for picnics and day trips in this hot weather and a much better option than sugary drinks. I will recommend it to my friends and will buy again. We look forward for new flavours and like to have Mango flavor as well. Thank you Charlie.

I would love to try these for My Grandson, who I am currently bringing up, I still buy puree fruit pouches for him as I didn’t know fruit juices were available in pouch form. I Like things that are easy to take along in my bag or his wee lunchbox.

I am a Mum of four who loves Charlies products. My 3, 6 year old twins and 9 year old would love to try it too in their lunchbox and this would make their friends want them too. Mr 9 is a perfect consumer and loves trying new products closely followed by the 2 Miss 6”s and then comes Mr 3 going on 23!

My kids would love to trial these for their school lunches. Having 3 school aged kids we are always looking for ways to add some more fruit to their daily intake and these would be nice chilled in the freezer so ready to drink at lunchtime on a hot day.

  23. dinglemouse73 16/01/2018 at 9:32 pm

Our family would love to try this, have a sensory issue child who is very picky with food and drink,so getting different things into her is hard, she tends to stick with the same flavours for alot of things!

  25. Uina 16/01/2018 at 4:25 pm

I have an almost four year old who loves drinking anything from a carton or a pouch. This would be an ideal size for her lunchbox and good for her health as well.
